Pacific Southern California Fanforce Beach Day Resources - Post what ye be bringing!

Hey guys. Since the Southern California fanforces are having a fanforce beach day on August 12, this is where you post what you're bringing, since it is Pot-luck.

I'll be updating the list as people post, so we don't wind up with 15 sides of potato salad and no plates.

Below is just a guestimation of what people can bring. For things like soda, chips, meat, more than one person bringing something would be great. Either sign up for something, or say you're bringing something else!


NOTE: Since we had several different groups with different policies, we would ask that no alcohol be brought to the event, mostly since the beach we will be having it on does not permit alcohol.

5 North to the 405 North

Exit Beach Blvd SOUTH
Take Beach Blvd South until it dead ends at PCH.
Turn Right on PCH.
Turn Left on Huntington St. for parking.

Inland Empire
91 west to the 55 South
55 South to the 405 North
Exit Beach Blvd SOUTH
Take Beach Blvd South until it dead ends at PCH.
Turn Right on PCH.
Turn Left on Huntington St. for parking.

Los Angeles
405 south

coke. i can bring that.
if someone else brings ice or something to keep em in, i can bring a couple 12-packs of that, and one or two of whatever it is other people drink.

 

I'll make a big batch of my "famous" Pasta Salad with tricolor pasta.

Roasted red peppers, mushrooms, red onions, olives, salami. Yum!

 

I can bring balls...
vollyballs, footballs, soccer balls, rugby balls, whiffle balls..
Oh, and yeah, frisbees and stuff too.

I also have no problem bringing soda or something if its needed.

 

I can bring carne asada. I love cooking over an open flame.

 

I'll bring a package of Polish Sausage and hot dog buns.

You need to add buns to the list; unless you're on the Atkins diet.

I'll be bringing 48 bottles of water.

I'll also try and bring one of those giant games they have in Target, they have giant tennis, giant golf, giant baseball and giant besketball!

any soda suggestions beyond coke?

 

Chips, I'll bring some chips.


Sodas: you can also buy Sprite, Diet cokes, Dr. Pepper etc...

 

yeah, i just figured it'd be better to get an idea of what sort of beverages other people would be leaning towards

 

Don't forget we'll need some tables, and everyone should bring a chair for themselves, or blankets, and all the usually beach stuff. Sunblock, towels, sunglasses etc.

 

Dont forget to bring sand!

 

You people don't realize how much Coke Lowbacca can drink in one day. I bet it is close to his own body weight. I'll bring some meats.

 

i don't drink that much. generally. i'm a social drinker. or when I'm bored. Man I'm Irish

Woohoo! I got one of those giant frisbees today!

 

ok i'm gonna crawl out from under my rock for this beach blanket bongo, gonna bring my weber grill, charcoals and fluid.

 

sweet. You've saved me from buying something I have no room for in my apartment. Introduce yourself to me at the event and I'll grill up a really good piece of carne asada for you.

 

I'm pretty sure I'll be there. I'll probably bring good ole' boring H2O
