Space Ship One Launch - Road Trip ????

    FYI -

    Space Ship One (Burt Rutan's spaceship) is scheduled to make its historic flight civilian launch on June 21, 2004. Anyone care for a road trip to view the equivalent of the first project "Mercury Launch"? The launch will be from Mojave airport at approx 6:30 a.m. on Monday, June 21. For more info follow the links below. Expect a MOB. I attended shuttle landings when they used to happen regularly at Edwards. The parking area opens at 3 a.m., but you should plan to camp out the night before to get a good spot on the fence.

    Man I would love to go to that but it would be way too much of a drive...Well and I'm broke. I just hope I eventually make enough money to fly on SpaceShipOne (or one of it's future offspring). ;)
