Me and Dana were at the dollar theater tonight and noticed, Hey! June 17-18, they're showing Spaceballs, the paragon of parodies. Anyone interested?

I was only able to get a ticket by waving $10 in the air and asking if anyone had an spare. It just so happened that the very last group in line had a spare to sell me.

They accidentally sold us tickets to a showing that had been rented out by a company, so we got into the 12:01 showing instead of the 12:20 showing, which didn't hurt my feelings one bit.

Very nice. A person had to swap tickets, so I got to see it at 12:05 instead of 12:15. Where did you see it, EC?

Yeah, I'm going home after spring term. So sadly, no spaceballs for me. I've never actually seen it...sad.

grrr, I'll be in Virginia watching my younger sister graduate and I will be gone the 15-19th. humph. I really need to check back on this board more often and see what is going on so I can meet with y'all sometime...

 

kateydidnt, are you from Virginia? I am...it's a good place. I'm actually missing my sister's graduation because it's the day after finals and my flight doesn't get in until just after it's over.

Yeah, I'm from the Richmond area (Chesterfield County to be exact). Actually my sister's graduation is the 16th, the second day of finals, however my one class' final is going to be in class thursday the 9th. So I can go home.

I'm actually from Richmond as well...Henrico County. Small world! Funny, most people talk about what city they're from, but we talk about counties in Virginia...
