I reserved a room at the Roosevelt hotel, 2 and ½ blocks from the theater. I did it through the paramount website for a reduced rate,. Got the room with 2 beds but when I reserved, it would not let me select over 2 people in the room, so cross fingers, but I don?t think it will be a problem

The hotel has a restaurant called Vons grand city café- they serve prime rib - but they do say they have vegetarian options on the menu
    http://www.roosevelthotel.com/dining.htm#options

other options for dinner include a Vietnamese restaurant (better prices- more veggie options)
    http://bambuza.com/food.html

or the dragonfish café (which is located in the paramount hotel- a hotel I did not choose because they charge 25 dollars a night for parking)
    http://dragonfishcafe.com/sea/dinner.html

Every other close by place I found via web was either way to expensive or was take-out food

We can decide where we want to eat closer to the date but I thought I would let you see some options so maybe we can vote on them beforehand

    NOOOEEEEEEESSS!
Well, the new job is more important. we will have to try and plan something just as fun for a time when you are not scheduled to work. Once you have been there a bit, you'll hopefully have a regular schedule and we can plan around that

We're still waiting to see the schedules - after all, as it stands we'd be working 9 days straight - somehow I don't think they want us to do that....

    Re: Spamalot!!!! Need a Restaurant!!!!!!!!!

Hey folks, We need to make a desision on the restaurant soon, Photo
Knight (and can I call you Andrew or is it Andy?), as I hear you are
going to join us for the show, did you also know we were going out to
eat first? Did you also want to join us for that? If so, give a vote
on a choice, I think the only other Mos Everettonian besides myself
who is going is Marlow (my boyfriend Rick is coming as well, but he
says whatever place we choose is fine with him), so it is up to me
and Marlow and Photo Knight if he's coming to vote on this, but If I
don't hear back soon I will have to make an executive descision on a
place as reservations for that night may already be filling up.

P.S., I am cancelling the hotel reservation since Marlow and Mary
will just go back to her place that night and Rick says he does not
mind driving back to Everett after the show

so far, my vote is for Bambuza, it's very close to the theater, the prices are the most reasonable and I like the menu there

Somewhere I posted a request for Bambuza's address, but never mind! I found their web site which has the address.

I'm in Guam visiting family and using my mom's PC, so I'm a little scattered bouncing around various forums, the Yahoo group, and web mail. Although--scattered is probably a good state of mind to be in when going to see Spamalot .... [face_mischief]

    Hi everyone!
Rick and I had a great time, we loved the restaurant, and the musical was excellent! We are sorry we didn't meet up with you after the show if that was the plan (we never heard any talk about it at dinner). Besides the fact that the crowd was packed getting out so we didn't see where you all went, we had a long drive back to his place in Marysville that night, so we went straight for the parking garage after getting out of the theater.
