If you have not heard the word...

In March the Sci-Fi Channel is bringing the latest Doctor to your television! Yes it is indeed a new British invasion of the Whokind. The very latest Dr. Who episodes are to be shown to us Yanks in March. For those that never heard of Dr. Who...SHAME ON YOU !!! The good Doctor is THE longest running televised sci-fi series ever. America had Trek. The folk across the Pond had Who. OK so what is this Dr. Who? Well it is a blend of The Time Machine, Sherlock Holmes, and with a good dose of space opera. The Doctor manages to get himself and his companions in over their heads. He uses British-like wit and charm to find life and death determining solutions. Every so often the Doctor meets a challenge that kills him. His human-like species have the ability to regenerate. Thus new actors are cast. Kind of like James Bond in that respect. The Doctor has many colorful enemies. One in particular is really beloved by the Brits. This enemy is known as the Daleks. These guys are really something. They are a cross between R2-D2 and a robotic Cylon warrior. So imagine a dark side infected R2 unit with a laser weapon and a passion to EXTERMINATE!!!

Sorry I'm drawing a blank on the lint reference. Was this from an episode of Dr. Who? If so which episode. If you don't know then what Doctor was present on the episode?

Oh one other little thing about Dr. Who's arrival. It will be shown on Friday nights at 9pm. So does this mean one of the Stargates is going to be moved to another night? I can't imagine they'd move BG to another night. If one of the SGs is moving or being cancelled then BG might be put in it's place as a replacement.

    Theoritical line-up...

    7pm- Stargate
    8pm- BG
    9pm- Dr. Who

    or

    7pm- BG
    8pm- Stargate
    9pm- Dr. Who

or (time zone confusion over the 9pm hour?)

    7pm- Stargate
    8pm- Dr. Who
    9pm- BG
