This is the first time it's happened to me, but...

    User Name: Jedi_Reject_Jesse

Thread in question: mcntrsh ftl pt 2 (YJCC)

    Time: 12:22PM (9/1/06)

Operating Sys: Windows XP, Internet Explorer

It was for one screen and I didn't post anything, but ended up in that username for a second. Looked like they were mid-post or something. Weird.

Yes he was. Forgot to mention that.

What I meant was that instead of my user name listed at the top, his was. And I hadn't even clicked on YJCC to go there. THAT'S why it was weird.

    Sorry for the confusion. :)

Yes, I understood you, I just wanted to point out, that as in my case, the acutual user WAS posting to the same thread it said you were going to post to.

It sounds like a pointer is getting out of whack when two users click on a link at the same time, and one of them is posting a message.

Oh, and more information about mine, I am using firefox with the board extention.

The thread/forum title and url/link you were previous to being put in new username: YJCC
    Your name: Obi_Wan_01
Other username: vaders_cape (Went to his private message list)

I could upload the screenshot, but I won't since it displays the user?s private messages, other usernames and times. An admin can PM me if the screenshot is needed.

I've had that happen. I'm not sure if it is related to this problem or not.

 I did not know about this.

I always stay in my same account username except tonight. ;)

I have a question about log in users so I don't have to make a thread about this.

    thread

How a user can log in as anony?.... I am just little concern for problems in the past with a group.

    Thank you.

It's an error, the Anonymous thing. It's not something conciously done.

sidious618: The problem was supposed to be fixed on the 6th after extensive work by tech support. There is absolutely no way this can be attributed to anything else? You did not put down the wrong date? This did indeed happen today? You are certain of all these things? This is very important.

It did indeed happen. I posted it right after the incident. Sorry, I couldn't get back to you sooner, I forgot all about this.

I had that happen to me just a few minutes ago. I was in the fanfiction resource board and clicked on the social thread and found myself logged out and viewing the Lit board instead.

Well, this is certainly unusual. I was in YJCC, and clicked on the "Jedi Council Forums" link at the top of the page, which brought me here:

    [image=http://www.noerf.com/irk/mkerror.JPG]

I have never been to midway.com. Clicking on "Midway Boards" brought me back to the JC.

I'm normally not one to report errors, but this one was simply too bizarre to leave unmentioned.

I'm using Windows XP. I don't remember what thread I was in when I clicked on the Jedi Council Forums link, though.

That is the craziest thing and, believe it or not, it's not the first I've heard of it. Zerosleep is definitely aware of this one. Thanks for letting us know. :)
