Rogue One [Speculation] Jonathan Aris in Rogue One

Jonathan Aris is rumoured to play a Senator Jebel in Rogue One.

Any thoughts? If true, maybe we see the Imperial Senate in Rogue One.

 

What's interesting is that shortly after MakingStarWars and other sites started to report this development, that entry on his Spotlight page just went and disappeared.

 

I think we will find out about his involvement in R1, if any, pretty soon. I believe a cast announcement is only a few days ahead.

 

I'm curious, what is it that makes you think so?

Anyway, as far as the role, seeing the Imperial Senate onscreen again would be incredible. We saw it at the very beginning, and it would be incredibly cool to see it near the end.

Yeah, I've been waiting that log to see it.


So if this "Senator Jebel" means that we'll be seeing the Senate, proper? I'm all for it!

 

the fact that Mission Impossible is out this week so problems with that movie will be over and that KK said at Comic Con that next week filming should supposedly start.

Disney just keeps casting more and more Sherlock actors. Sounds good to me.

 

No Aris confirmation today

 

I think we will get more cast announcements over the course if Rogue One's filming. For example, Lupita Nyong'o was first rumoured to be in TFA in February or March 2014. She wasn't part of the initial cast announcement on 29th April 2014, but she was announced a few weeks later on 2nd June. The same could happen with Aris.
