    Lucas gave Mace Windu so much screen time in the first three, there's no way that he would just kill him off like that. He could've grabbed a speeder while he fell like Anakin did in Episode 2! So what do you all think about Master Windu's fate?

    I wonder if during the fall, Mace's force powers surged and he was able to fly. Kind of like in XMen when the mutants get their powers after a traumatic event, he could get these new powers and then fly away to safety.
