Spice

I've always kinda wondered what spice really was. I am pretty sure it is something kinda equivilent to a drug. There are different levels of spice. I mainly want to know if 1: I am right and it is a kind of drug, 2: If it is all illegal to trade and have, and 3: What kinds of spice there are.


i know of a few spices like the one that turns blue when shown to light and offers telepathic powers, i read about this one in the han solo books.

 

All i know (or think i know) is that you can get the best spice on Kessel

 

In Jedi Academy Trilogy, Moruth Doole had huge spice mines in Kessel.

 

Nice look at that. Kessel what a planet.

 

Glitterstim, which is what most people think of as spice, is the web of energy spiders that live on Kessel. It activates when exposed to light and gives mild telepathic abilities. The Hutts have/had a very large processing facility for it on Ylesia.

But spice, as a term, refers to many narcotics, IIRC. Like ryll from Ryloth and others.

In the YJK books, Anja Gallandro gets Jedi-like-ness from andris spice.

 

It is a drug, some spices I can think of off the top of my head:

Ryll
Shadow Paw
Booster Blue
Muon Gold (sp)
Giggledust
