    I do believe that Skyla Fett looked into while we was looking into the FF party. If memory serves me correctly, the theatre said they didn't know what they were going to do that weekend yet but they'd be in contact with him and if he didn't hear from them by April to call.

    From my experience working in a movie theatre, unless it's some special release like ET or something, most theatres won't know what they're doing until at the most a month before the movie comes out, sometimes just the week before.

    ET is creepy. That movie freaked me out when I was a kid. And those new toys are an embarassment. Little Drew looks like she has down syndrome. I'm interested in seeing the digital enhancements, but my vote has to be for Spidey.

    ...Spins a web, any size...

    Sounds like a great idea! I was looking toward seeing it Friday night. Should be interesting seeing a mass gathering of Star Wars fans at a Spiderman movie!

    Good Idea Tobey-Wan! ::thinks of
    Tobey Maguire; YUM::My parents
    and I were going to either see
    it Friday or Saturday night :)
    My dad's into X-Men and Spiderman.
    When I was little, on Sunday
    mornings, I'd wake up to the blaring
    of destruction and Peter Parker.. :)

    Well, if somebody gets something arranged and it doesn't come in conflict with anything else, I'd be willing to go.

    Even though I think this movie is going to suck.

    I just got this e-mail from the Spiderman Website:

    "Next week, theaters in the Fandango network will be starting to sell tickets for the movie event of the summer (NOT!!!) ;) , so you can get tickets for your family or friends with no worry about a sell-out. Just click on the box below, and we'll swing you off to Fandango where you can check for advance tickets in your area. If nothing's there for your neighborhood yet, check back often - more theaters will be added as we get closer to May 3rd."

    That's this week guys! Let's nail down a theater close to the convention center & see if we can go see it at a midnight showing Friday. I don't know about you, but I'm currently planning on going to the FF party w/ the 501st & Rebel Legion also attending when the convention ends. This way you see, we can go from there to see Spiderman.
    I just hate relying on Fan DANG! :eek: for movie tickets. They may be better there in Indiana, but here in Tennessee, it seems that they always find a way to screw up.

    A bunch of us from the AfterHours thread are planning on going to the Hollywood Bar & Filmworks on either Friday or Saturday night late. There is a chance that they may get SpiderMan. You have to be 18 to get in, though. (You know....Bar and all.)

    Listen, FANDANGO is already selling the tickets!!!

    Let's PLAN NOW, to save the trouble (Sold out), OK?

    Though, I would think it will only sell out, if a lot of people buy it on Fandango.

    Still, Spider-Man is like Star Wars, I mean HIGHLY Anticipated, maybe a little more (to the public) so it might be one of the exceptions, who knows right?

    21 is the age to get into bars and to drink...I know other states let you in at 18, but not here.

    Yes but here at the JC we do not condone doing that sort of thing.

    Sebulba x.. Do you know anywhere that will be showing Spiderman at midnight Thursday night?

    Not to be rude, but neither do I. As a 38 year old mother of an 18 year old son, I try to set a good example for my 'child'. So, the post was merely an observation not a matter of fact!! :)

    Actually, that was why I asked what the drinking age was. I read MAX VADER's post. Because my son is 18 and if Spider-man was showing at a 'bar' or pub, we could not go if the age was 21. But, if it was 18, we could of had cokes and seen the movie, along with fellow Star Wars fans

    Is there a specific theater, day, and time that everyone is going to watch Spiderman?

    Listen, There's a nice theater in the mall downtown. I would bet my bottom dollar that they will have Spiderman on at least 2 screens. I think the last showing is at 9:40 but they could add a later one. Who knows?
