Went to the midnight showing and was completely disappointed. It was the hype, they put so much into it and then the let down is huge. Dont want to spoil it but will comment once more people have seen it.
I think I liked the new Superman better. Hopefully Transformers and Rise of the Silver Surfer can save the summer movie season for me.

Well, here are the show times:

Saturday: 7:30, 8:00, 8:30, 8:55 Imax is sold out, except 1:05am (a little too late for us- babysitter)
    Sunday (Imax): 3:45 and 7:00.

I would like to see it in Imax, but Rob is scheduled to work Sunday and may or may not have to go in.

It was enjoyable as a film, but I can see why people who are Spider-Man fans would not like it. I definitely have a few gripes about it, even though I did overall enjoy the film. My biggest complaint: they tried to cram WAY too much story into one film.

I enjoyed it for sure and wouldn't mind seeing it again in IMAX with Rob.

Great movie! Very well written. Although I can see the why some hard-core comic fans would criticize it. The back end stories in movie-land don't necessarily match the stories in comic-land. But, you have to say to yourself, if Stan Lee gave it the OK (ie. the movie story line) then he must think it's pretty good, for a movie. Action shots were very cool.

I saw it on IMAX, but not sure if it was worth the extra cash for that. Did anyone see it on both screens? Was there a difference?

I saw it Saturday night with Lisa, Gil, and Peter and his family. I thought the movie overall was good but it wasnt on par with the other two. I think they tried to put to many stories together and had way to many things going on. Basically they putting too may comics together. According to the comics Gwen Stacy died and by the hands of the Original Green GOblin aka NORMAN Osborn, Venom came from space via the Secret Wars on a space shuttle. Venom wasnt responsible for Harry's demise either. Those were just a few of the continuity errors in the movie....Although if we have to get picky 300, V for Vendetta, TMNT....etc, practically all movies based on comics draw from little bits of the comics and fill in the rest hollywood style.

I agree, they took bits of the comics and drew on it to rewrite the story. Same as in Fantastic Four & X-men.
They took 2 hours to tell what happened in the comics over the course of a few years.
If you look at it and forget what you know about the story from the comics it's a good movie.

The actor doing JJ Jameson is still dead on! I love that character!

I saw the trailer for FF2 and Galactus looks kinda puny [face_laugh]
