ST Spin off trailer before Force awakens?

Okay this is my first ever post so not sure it will end up in the right place but here goes.

Given the release of TFA teaser,are we likely to see the spin off trailer before TFA release date?

 

Or maybe attached to TFA? Or a post credits tease? Hmmmm...

 

Please no post credits scenes for the love of God.

 

Depends on how far along the spin-off is by the time TFA releases. Right now it doesn't even have a script or any cast members. It could very well be pushed back to Summer 2017 sometime if there's any hiccups during production.

 

Do you mean a post credits full teaser trailer? Which would be awesome

 

I'm with you but i have a strong feeling that there is going to be.

 

God I hope not, it's hard enough having to wait for one film per year.

 

Great Odin's raven, please no post-credits tease. It's fine for Marvel but don't taint my Star Wars with it.

 

Maybe. But it could be that they wait for January 2016.

 

I think we might get a Star Wars Spin Off Trailer in November or December maybe attached to TFA which Would fall in line with TFA time Line.

I don't understand why everybody is so against the post-credits scene?

Um...if it's such a big deal, don't stick around through the credits to watch it. I hardly think that it would "taint" Star Wars.

Seriously, I don't get it. I literally have no opinion either way. If it's nothing but a teaser for the next movie, then it literally does not make any difference, does it?

 

I agree, it's because people hate change, just look at the thought of flashback in VII and the response is mostly negative.
I think it makes no difference if there is something at the end whether a spinoff teaser or a little tease for VIII.

 

A Teaser would make sense and possibly would be doable.

 

I like change. I just don't like the post-credits scene kinda change.

I do, on the other hand, appreciate a good flashback, and do not object to Star Wars using them (economically).

 

yet as fans who obsess over every possible bit of info and people are dying for more footage, you want to tell me you would rather wait months and months for VIII footage instead of a chance to get a little VIII tease after watching the movie.

 

Hmmm... you know, I had not thought about that. So far, both projects were independent in my mind. I just had not considered them connecting yet. Definitely could work, and would make for a really crazy midnight showing....I am in.

 

I'll take an Ep VIII trailer at the end of TFA. Just don't want straight up footage.

 

Star Wars has had a post-credits tease....in the form of Vader's breathing at the end of TPM...that being said...the post-credits thing I don't think is needed. People are going to stick around to listen to the score regardless.

But I'm with Raven...I have no real care either way.

When is principal photography scheduled to begin?

 

We have no idea yet. I'd guess sometime between this summer and the end of the year. Hopefully we'll get some official announcements during Star Wars Celebration in April.
