Hey Seattle! I got to meet a few of you at C4, I had a great time btw. I just wanted to stop by and leave a quick message, I'm the Marketing Chair for SpoCon 2008, we started SpoCon to help fill the hole that InCon used to fill in Spokane. We haven't had a convention in a couple of years now, so this is really exciting. But more exciting, is that we've confirmed [link=]Timothy Zahn[/link] as our very first Guest of Honor! We're all really thrilled about it. We'd like to get a large showing of Star Wars fans, we've even got a surprise planned for Mr. Zahn at the opening ceremonies, it will require costumed imperials *hint* *hint* ;) Anyway, I hope you can all make it over for the convention, here's some basic info: the con will be August 1-3 2008, for the next 5 months pre-reg for the con will be $25 and hotel rooms are $40 per room per night, you can find out a bit more by visiting [link=]SpoCon's[/link] website. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

    Here's the official press release:
