Don't EVER go into StarWars.com official forums (not even the Non-Spoiler one). I've just taken a look at one thread about lightsaber colors and now I know exactly why they have the colors that they have in the trailer. I also know who/what they're fighting and also what happens to some other Jedi. All in one thread.

 

Guys, watch out for the "A critique of the way that TFN does *SPOILERS*..." thraed in Communications. It's chock-full-of-spoilers, and I can't get it since it's just too full of spoilers, so watch out for it... and the fact taht it's not a troll (but someone who jsut copy/paste-ed the whole E2 page to make a discussion of the way TFN does their thing), I would have to read the post to get rid of the spoilres, and I would get spoiled...

you guys are SO paranoid. I'm trying to stay relatively spoiler-free but i know a few things and to me it's no big deal. Who cares about the little things like Jar Jar being crowned emperor...

And anyway it's really funny, in a sad way, to watch the totally unspoiled people speculate on things from the trailer (who was that guy with the red saber? What's Boba Fett doing flying around and shooting in the rain?) when you know (slightly) more than them.

So in the end, am I trying to make a point? Not especially.

 

I cannot believe the amount of spoilers on this website in the last few days.

I mean, there is a spoiler on the front page of theforce.net right NOW that is a MAJOR give-away! How can you avoid that...it's the first thing you see!

 

If there's a spoiler on the front page, the first thing you should do is email starwars@theforce.net and tell them that it's there. There shouldn't be any on the front page... I would email them, but don't have email right now at this computer.

Just so everyone knows what I am talking about, the Christopher Lee story on the main page has a major spoiler in it, and it is a stretch to consider it an official release of material from Lucasfillm.

 

I thought that if it came from one of the actors it wasn't a spoiler, has that changed?

 

I am not sure what official policy is, but I still believe it to be a spoiler from a pragmatic point of view.

 

I think this thread may have a spoiler in it. I'm not completely sure whether that really is a spoiler or not though.

 

Mr. P, just so you know, I think you should edit your post above. The email addy you gave there is one that the TFN staff does not want publicized because they don't want to be spammed. Is it my imagination, or is the official thread on discussing the Mystery trailer riddled with spoilers? Not spoilers about the trailer, but actual plot points from the film that I've never heard before.
I'm beginning to think I should just go cold turkey from the Internet for the next seven months

I think that "call me crazy" thread was just harmless speculation, but the fact that it was closed means it was probably on the mark. I've been spoiled!!
