    To me it seemed like the oh no was "did indy catch it?".

    Actually in the novelization, theres nothing about the uh oh mentioned at all. If were talking about the scene in the truck after Mutt finds out he's really Indy's son, it mentions no uh oh at all.

    Maybe it's just meant to suggest for a second there that maybe Indy wasn't very good with a switchblade, but then you realize he's still got it.

    I just saw the movie again, and what it actually looked like happened was that Indy accidentally cut the canvas of the truck. Its the only logical explanation that I could think of, and the whoops was that he cut the wrong thing, and that the "plan" was going to be ruined.

    To be honest, that does make sense.

    I don't think this is the first instance of people reading too much into something relatively trivial in an Indy movie. I remember when I was watching Last Crusade in a theater, when Indy tells Sallah, "No camels!" some smarty-pants type says "He's gonna be sorry..." and it turned out that it didn't matter in the least.

    No doubt they'll fix this with CGI in the DVD special edition. ;)
