DFW, TX Spoiler Question - The Two Towers Trailer

    The new Two Towers trailer has an interesting ending. Does that spoil it for anyone or is it accepted that everyone has read these books?

    Spoiler. Someone I know saw the trailer and was shocked at the ending. I however read the books so i knew it was coming, but I too was surprised that they showed it on the trailer.

    Well, I am guessing that everyone here has read the books so it ain't a surprise.

    It's the average-movie-going-joe that I'm thinking is surprised.

    Since I've already read the books a couple of times but haven't seen the trailer could someone fill me in on what they show at the end. I have a feeling that it is someone that is now wearing WHITE, and if that's true that really sux that they would show it.

    Yeah, I saw the first trailor in the theater 5 times, and everytime people gasped when they showed it. Some even applauded.

    I was glad I read the books back in middle school. (and re-reading now)

    i've never read the book, but i did listen to the BBC produced radio drama of the entire trilogy, featuring many of the same british actors. it rocked.

    Well Ian McKellen was on the cast list for Two Towers...and after FOTR came out every body that I knew....said that he was coming back so it wasn't a big surprise for me
