    i was going to say it's going to be strange for a new star wars movie to come out and to probably not even go see it. but i guess that already happened with that clone wars movie.

    The Star Wars series is ultimately a six-film saga about the rise, fall, and redemption of Anakin Skywalker. Anything more is completely superfluous.

    I want to see this as good news -- the end of Lucas's involvement in SW.

    But it's too early to tell. Too many potential ramifications. They better let us stay operating!

    Really, the star wars saga could have remained a three film saga, and it would have been perfect. I still saw and own the PT, and I'll probably see and own future movies. Who knows? They may actually be better than the PT... or at least equally as bad.

    I've been half expecting something (never thought it would be this) since she was announced as taking over a little while back. Now the various pieces have fallen into place some of the moves recently make a bit of sense.

    I suppose it could still be about Anakin. How about he comes out of pod-racing retirement as a Force Ghost? And Sebulba's son wants revenge on him! Yeah, see, this is going to be awesome!

    I feel uneasy of this. Is anyone else feeling a chill running down their spines?

    Listening to the live conference focusing only on "the good hand to have", "the franchise", "the market", "ownership", "strengthens our hand", "a save bet", "the consumer product side", "the exploitation", "the International market"... all business talk, not a single mention of the creative aspect or respect for the Saga.[face_worried]

    If they maintain the integrity of the Skywalker Clan's father and son story (i.e. the Star Wars Saga to me), I guess I can live with Disney running the show. Maybe.

    I would love to hear about what this means in terms of TCW, and other ongoing Lucasfilm projects. Is the Skywalker Ranch going to stay their headquarters?
