    Personally I don't want to watch the OT in HD. I want to see it the way I remember it. Almost as a rule I skip anything that says 'remastered', 'digitally restored', 'remixed', and so forth. I love tape hiss, static, discolorization, noise--the signs of wear and aging.

    To be clear, I'm not interested in the HD, and certainly not any kind of "improvements" of the kind Lucas has made in the past. I'd just like to own the OT, in the theatrical versions, so I can watch them with my kids. And without having to explain how the green alien could possibly miss from a few feet away.
