I agree, I don't think we'll see him post-ROTJ really soon but it'll most likely happen within a reasonable amount of time. Now whether it's Marvel that does it or it's done in novel format is the question.

Just a thought but what if Boba aware of Jabba's sadistic nature took steps to find out something the Sarlac couldnt tolerate and because of its slow digestion when it spat him out everyone who survived that fight had already left meaning noone noticed Boba dumping his armour?

Could he remotely summon his ship without his armour?

There's also no sign Boba Fett survived either.

You know except the fact that someone found armor that is pretty much undoubtably his.

Exactly. The armor didn't get out without the person inside and no scavengers are going to Sarlacc-diving in an effort to find lost treasures. Boba escaped.

I want to add my agreement here. :boba: We DO know it's Fett's armor....I think that's been established and obviously didn't get out without at least him, whether the Sarlacc regurgitated it or not. And I agree, unless Sarlacc-diving is a past time on Tatooine then we know it's his.

I think the Boba Fett anthology is actually a Cobb Vanth anthology.

I suppose the Sarlacc could be the equivalent of an owl - and the armour the equivalent of an owl pellet.

Still, I'd rather have a live Boba, personally.

The Sarlacc slowly digests you over a thousand years.
Good enough for me, for Boba surviving.

Well since you don't eat a barve like that all at once, I think he probably left his armor in the pit when he escaped a firey explosion set off by his jet pack, and then Dengar found him without it and later the armor was regurgitated...

...we're not playing that game I see. Ok fine I'll just go over there... with Sinre... @Sinrebirth how's that ducktaping coming along...

Isn't the Sarlacc dying though according to Malakili's interlude in Life Debt?

Wasn't it that he found it dead? Like its stomach was burst open or something.

Haven't got Life Debt in my procession yet. Only new canon book I got is Catalyst (on loan to someone else atm). Everything I know comes from reading snippets at book stores hear and there.

Ah well from what I remember the Sarlacc is dead and it seems as if its stomach was exploded from the inside.

Which means Boba Fett's armour might not have been the only thing it chucked up.

Personally, I'd prefer it if Boba Fett is dead.

It was the Tatooine one in Life Debt with the rancor trainer from Jabba's Palace.

In the EU, the Sarlacc seemed dead after Boba's jetpack exploded (Boba's first words to Dengar are "I killed it - blew it up"), but it turned out to have survived - being extremely hard to properly kill.

Something similar may apply in the newcanon.

Like mushrooms and foot fungus. You knock off the top or douse it in acid and are like "hey I got that sonuva..." and then there are like 50 more next week.

That's probably how they got to Dathomir and Felucia and wherever. Someone was probably like "throw this sucka into SPACE!" and then no. No, that did not work. Sarlaccs everywhere.

Kill off one Sarlacc and 50 more shall take it's place. Hail Jabba.

When you said throw it into space I had the mental image of Superman just throwing the Sarlacc into space a la the original Superman ending

I got the idea from the interludes that the Sarlacc had been killed in part by effects of the exploding Jabba barges, and that the remnants of that AND the interior of the dead Sarlacc's gut were both actively and quickly scavanged.

In Jawas of Doom, Boba was spat out by the Sarlacc, unconscious; The Jawas found Fett and took him aboard their Sandcrawler. Maybe that happened in the NuEU, with the Jawas stealing Boba's armor and leaving him in the desert. The scavengers would then sell the armor to this Vanth guy.
You know, I want to see Boba disintegrate Cobb, and take his armor back. T'would be epic.

Now that I think about it, if Boba survived the Sarlacc, then Shaak Ti should survive the Sarlacc too; Its not like one of the piggies survived the teeth of a god&@%$ Rancor!
