It's a new drug there, apparently, made by Mexicans and gringos.

Silly question, but is it subtitled?

Yes it is. And a little more risqué!

    *Colombian

And from what I've heard, it's exactly like the U.S. original with tweaks to make it fit with Colombia.

In this case, I am happy to say I am an idiot.

Different strokes for different folks and that.

^ [face_laugh] Old enough to get that reference. It's rare when I can watch something from a criminal's point of view (giallos seem to be the only exception to this rule for me.)

Diggy and to everyone who is a fan of this show and others, no disrespect.

But my reasons are: there really are people like that and I have little to no interest in seeing criminals get away with their crimes. This is exact reason why I cannot watch serial killer stuff beyond giallos (which are so fake and surreal and the killers are usually punished too.)

I can roll with fantastic monsters and villains, but real world criminals and killers and such, most of them no. That said, there are rare exceptions such as Mad Dog in Hard Boiled. He had his own whacked moral code, he would not kill innocents only those who wronged him. In that moment, I understood his character and why he was the way he was. That was enough.

Now I know Cranston's character was coming from a good background and became this way because of his situation but I couldn't imagine being in that world for more than 90 minutes much less how many episodes over five years? It's like the Walking Dead. I can sit through a two-three hour zombie movie, no problem. But anything longer than that, I have no interest in following in the breakdown of humanity.

Realistically, I know the world does not operate in such black and white terms, but it's tough for me to embrace the bad guy, much less be interested. The older I get the more I want positive or inspiring entertainment. It may not be the reality of the world, but this is the way I roll.

You've got your perspective. I don't identify with whatsoever, but we all roll a different way.

Darth Punk, feel the same way about the Wire.

I understand my particular perspective does not roll with most folks here. We all like what we like.

I'm no longer an idiot! I took a risk because I usually watch sitcoms or science fiction, but I am not regretting it one bit.

it is one of the greatest shows ever , some episodes are just . . . really stunning .

but I did have problems with the last couple of seasons , I felt they went too far with Jesse , it was like beating a puppy , over and over and over , he lost both girlfriends , god knows how much they tortured him . Walt got away with it really , I actually wanted him to suffer more .

I was going to post this in the little victories thread but it fits this thread better. I killed a disgustingly large fly that sneaked into the lab, and was threatening go contaminate everything. That thing was big enough to need a leash. Walter would have been proud.

I rewatched the episode with June's death yesterday. Must say, she was such a b***** to Walt I didn't really feel bad for her, or even Jesse (who led her back to drugs in the first place).

This is the most moral and honorable post in this whole thread.
