Edmonton Spring BBQ - ***Now at Wilfred Laurier Pk***

To usher in what is hopefully going to be a beautiful spring *fingers crossed* and as a way to celebrate our little Celebration trip, I was thinking of holding a BBQ out at my place.

Anyone and everyone is welcome and some rides can be provided, as well as directions. We'll have a fire, toast marshmallows, and of course sear some meat

This will be a kind of potluck BBQ, just post what you can bring. The dates available are the 9th, 15th or 16th. (even if it's just the chips or the pop )

(and it goes without saying, but this'll be a weather-permitting event, though hopefully the weather gods won't see fit to dump a foot of snow on us just before we leave *knock on wood*)

Sounds good. I am in Jasper on the 9th so that date is out for me. The 15th and 16th are good.

Just realised that if we hold this on a friday (15th) then we'll only have a few hours of sunlight since most people work that day...

Looks like it's going to be the 16th for now.

Terry's bringing salad and I'll take care of condiments and plates, etc.

My yard isn't thawing out as much as I'd like, so I doubt I'll be able to host this, so now it's going to be moved to Laurier where we had the last BBQ. I can provide firewood.

 

Umm ok I dunno where that is,. without street directions where abouts is it?.

 

Just follow 87th ave east all the way til it ends. It's right by the zoo.

87th ave is the road directly south of the mall.

Actually, we should have it so that everyone meets at the mall (HMV stage?) then we go from there, just to make sure everyone got what they're supposed to and doesn't need to stop at safeway or anything on the way.

It's my day to be pathetic and keep asking for things. Can I get a ride from and back to the mall? What else are we missing?
