Ohio Squadron Logo

Just wanted to inform everyone that I have put a request in at the Star Wars Art Guild for a squadron logo. There are a lot of good artists in that group and they have created several cool fantasy squadron logos, so I hope we get a response.

Any ideas you have for the logo should be posted here and I will add them to the request.

 

Here is the firt attempt for the logo, by a member of SWAG by the name of MalachiCoral. All credit goes to him.

I'm having them retry it with smaller wings and maybe some moss instead of the ivy. Let me know what else, you guys think. I'm working on an idea of my own right now but I'm not very gifted in computer art, ao it's taking a while.

 

Looks pretty cool, but don't quite get the "Black Swamp" connection with it.

Hopefully we can get something that we can turn into an icon to use as well.

 

Good idea Rholynn! The addition of moss is a good idea, I agree with Tobey-Wan about needing more of a connection to the Black Swamp.

I am also anxious to see yours... please post when you have a rough draft!

 

Here is the latest version of the logo from SWAG. The artist really likes it.

This is my rough outline. I am having the same artist that did the one above color, texturize, and put moss on the wings. (I can never get textures to look right) So hopefully we will soon have a couple logos to vote on.
