St. Lou, MO St. Louis Baseball Thread

Ok, I didn't see one, and there was much discussion of the Cardinals over in "Go Rams" so I thought I'd open up a baseball thread. I just listed it as baseball since I know not everyone here likes the Cards the most (hint, hint). Without further ado....

I was just upset that I couldn't watch the end of the Red Sox-Yanks game because we have Dish Net. Our FX channel is different from that of cable, so our FX still had Cards-Houston on. Behind the Mets, I favor the Red Sox and the Orioles. Just can't believe that I missed part of what could be the greatest comeback in baseball history

 

You think that's bad? I have classes tonight, which means I'll miss a good chunk of Game 7. Ah well, it's the Yankees and Red Sox, I'm very afraid we all know how this story ends already.

 

Sox won last night. They could pull it off again...

 

Sox have momentum.....I'm praying for them to win, though

I heard about it in KMart! Back in the video section it was tied, but by the time I got the the lanes we'd won. This RULES!

I'll be avoiding it, again. Still can't handle the stress. I've got my mum all worked up over it too. My neurosis is catching

First time in baseball history that a team was down 3 games to come back to win it. Shoot may even be first time in sports history.

 

Actually, Dajuan, it happened twice, both times in the NHL. Until now, anyway...

 

Claire and I were eating at Steak 'N Shake and some guy came in with an old radio and was listening and he said the Cards won and the whole place started cheering. It was amusing. Glad they won.

 

That's about how it was in the dorms. I had the window open and suddenly I hear everyone down the hall and across the courtyard start cheering. I turned to my roomate and go, "I think the Cardinals just won."

 

Time to break out your rally caps, rally steins, and rally rags!!!!

I don't know...we have to get Clemens out of the game before the 8th or 9th (and have a lead), before they get to Lidge. It'll be tough tonight, but not impossible. I've learned anything can happen in baseball...

Heh, my dad got tickets to tonight. I think this is the 4 or 5 game in post season that some customer/client something or other got him tickets to.
