I'm neutral. Boy, I'm actually HAPPY my team isn't in it this year.

And it's not an A-Rod thing to do, really. It's strategy. He can't run THAT fast to pick up a bunt now, could he?

I personally don't think bunting to him is a bad idea.

When you play injured, you run a major risk. Why should we refrain from bunting when it will give us an advantage simply because he chooses to play at less than 100%?

For example, if a goalie has bad perifferel vision out of his right eye, that's the side the team is going to be shooting from. Should they not take any shots from that side to avoid looking like bad guys? Or if a goalie has an injured left hand. Is it wrong to shoot to his glove side? Should they only take shots stick side? That's just dumb. Smart playing is exploiting weaknesses. That is currently a major weakness. I think it's time we exploit it.

Yeah, I'm a big advocate of bunting against him. Why shouldn't we? We know where he is vulernable, why not use that to our advantage instead of letting him set us down over and over? It may not be the nicest baseball, but it's good fundamentals.

Thank you for seeing it my way, Cards fans. I wish the Cards would have taken notice of what the Yankees never did.

Bunting against Schilling would have definitely worked.
Because of the bad ankle, he would've been out of the game much earlier and then we may have scored more and possibly won the game.

I have a question for you Cardnial fans. Who is the scheduled starter for game 4? Is it still Marquis even though he pitched an inning in relief in game 2? I haven't heard LaRussa comment one way or another yet.

Dude, up to this point in the Series we've been PWNED by the Sox. I'm wondering if that series against Houston didn't take everything we already had, cause except for Game 1, we've been effectively shut down. It also doesn't help we've made mistakes in key situations...

You may be right but I sincerely hope not. It needs to go seven for them to have a chance now.

Boston's made more mistakes and we still can't pull it off. And as it's looking right now (bottom of the 9th), we're about to get owned worse than the first 2 games.

There's a sliver of hope, we have Lowe and Wakefield the next two games, I think we can beat them. If Schilling cannot pitch in Game 6, then we might get Arroyo or someone else....it'll be extremely tough as the Sox smell blood now.

Lowe may have had his troubles during the regular season but he pitched one of the best games of his career against the Yankees in Game 7 of the ALCS, so don't count him out just yet. Even if things went to a Game 5 and Wakefield got the start, his knuckler will be dancing in that warm weather you guys are having down there.

I'm not getting too excited and I don't want to get ahead of myself. I'm enjoying the 3-0 lead and anticipating a great game tonight.

    GO SOX!!!

Pedro looked awesome last night. Even his at bats were good considering :p he doesn't hit in the AL.

I hope it is a close game tonight between the teams.
A real battle right up to the 9th.
I would still like the Red Sox to win tonight though.

    Go Red Sox!!!!

At least we got to the Series this year. That was enough for me. Seems anti-climactic from here.
