St. Patrick's Day Parade

Anyone else want to go down to this one and harrass the 501st guys next weekend?

 

I might like to join you Zoo. I think the kid would like it.

 

I am seriously considering coming in costume and heckling them

 

I'll give it some thought, though I may be building hilts with DH.

 

what tiems does it start? i took the day off for the meeting, so i might jsut want to go and see it.


and if you are going to be there in costume, i really watn to be there.

10 AM on .... This is a stupid question, but what day is St Pat's day? I know when the Eides of March are, I know when Nat'l Pi Day is (3-14. Get it? Pi=3.14 Ha ha ha. ) Is it Sunday the 16th? Or am I smoking something?

 

The parade is on Saturday Feni. St. Patti's Day is actually on Monday the 17th.

 

Now see, why does everything have to be on Saturday? The parade, the meeting.... GRR! I'm going to beg, bride and plea my way into getting this Sat off.

 

not everything happens on saturday . just most of it .

 

Okay, we're meeting at the Broadway Light Rail Station at 9:15AM on Saturday March 15th and heading downtown on the light rail (Unless of course the RTD guys on strike and then we'll just meet there and maybe take the O Bus to Civic Center Station - or carpool, but I think the bus will be the best bet). And we'll try to find a place to stand before the judges stand.

At the very least Leah & I will be in costumes (a Jedi and a Princess - have to heckle the Troopers ).

Bus/Light Rail = $1.15/each way

 

this is going to be so cool! get to be hanging out with people dressed up all cool. hmm better warn my brother. i guess i better get up there early to find you all in time.

a friend I havent talked to in a while's daughter is going to be doing some dancing and chearleader stuff in the parade. I told her I would come see her. so I will be there. but dont bother looking for me cause I will be looking for you.

 

I'll be there with some maties partaking in the ritual of the green beer.

 

Just remember what the after effects are of that kind of activity

And Chunk, unless we end up getting kidnapped, the likelihood of running into people is pretty slim up there. It's pretty huge.

Besides, these guys are fun to have in any parade. Draws more attention.

Taeriel, its what it sounds like. beer that is green. i dont know if its made green, or if they put color in it, but its green. either way, it still sounds gross.
