Well I was really looking forward to going to this. My sister too. But I've definetly come down with something. I don't think I'd be able to last the entire parade route. Plus I don't want to give this to you guys either.

 

Sorry to hear that, JCoC. I can certainly relate, as I've been out of commission the last 2 days myself.

Fortunately, I seem to be back to about 80% at this point.

 

well i got my directions to get there. i need to get to bed. i have a long drive ahead. see you all in the morning. and if i get lost, i hope the cell numbers i have are still current.

 

Since there is still some work to be done on the WOTR bird, I'm going to reprioritize and work over there tomorrow after work rather than parade....ya'll have fun!

I just checked the closet, and I don't have the small one we used last year, and I'm pretty sure Jeff and Kim have the big banner.

The big one really wouldn't survive marching, as it's only paper.

 

I'm not sure it would hold, since it's paper... And last I heard it was at Sith Central So, probably not, since I don't have it, and didn't know anything about grabbing it, or I would have.

 

Oh...err....ummmm....ok....hmmmmm....


Anyone know where the smaller banner is? Is that the one we've used in the past?

 

Just have four people hold a big R, M, F, and F cut out of colored cardboard....might be able to get them at Kinko's, Office Depot, ect.? Quick fix if nuthin' else.

If you are referring to the FanForce Banner... You have to request that one months in advance from the CR board

So, did anyone see us on TV? They were even talking about us and everything at the Grandstand... And I was waving to some cameras

It was so much fun!!! i am so tired but it was worth it. all the kids were great!!! im not handing stickers out next year though. It was a mob when they saw them!

I loved all the luke and ghostbuster comments. and the one wedge comment. that was the best!!

 

Sounds like you all had a blast. I wish I could've been there.

 

Did anyone see me? The float we were on broke down right away (not to mention a few times before we even got to the staging area). So, yeah.... Story time at the Castle just wasn't as impressive as it should have been.

 

Want to hear the funny part... Mom was talking to me about the parade and says, "There was a girl there dressed like Rapunzel, and she looked so familiar."
