there is a line in the Linkin Park song called "Burning in the Skies" that reads "I'm swimming in the smoke, of bridges I have burned" and it's very much an Alastor song in some cases.

 

I know I'm dating myself, but Hybrid Theory and Meteora cannot be beat!

 

Hybrid Theory was good yeah because LP had a definitive sound, but Meteora kinda fumbles for me because they moved away from what made Hybrid Theory work and didn't quite find themselves till Minutes to Midnight, and then finally solidified it with Thousand Suns.
