Star by Star Audio excerpt

Wow. Anyone not wanting to know the imfamous "MAJOR SPOILER" should not listen.

But God, thats so cool! So sad. I love it. I want the novel now!

I wonder why they would release that part as an excerpt.

 

Bib, the excerpt is over seven minutes long, it's going to take awhile for someone to post a transcript. The excerpt is about Anakin and a group of jedi knights attacking the Yuuzhan Vong. The group includes Jacen, Jaina, Tahiri, Lowbacca and others.

 

They released part of the end of VP as the first teaser excerpts. Besides, many people may not truly know whats happening. I know I kind of different, in respect to the whole formations of the Jedi (who was where) and some of the names for things.

Wasnt that bad. Not that good. The bit where it says how he reaches through the force just sounded corny. Liked the Vong feet part though

I'm this close to tears right now. That was very well written. I could almost see what was going on. I want this book more than ever now.

I know!!! (Now that I'm not speechless I can talk about it. ) When Tahiri said that I though oh how said considering what would happen later. Little did I know that at the end of the excerpt....

The music and sound effects give a nice punch. I wish I had those when reading.

 

No fair! When I tried to listen to it, it wouldn't come up. ACK!

If they put this in audio excerpt, I'm led to believe that the "spoiler" may actually be UNproven later on in the book.

That excerpt was, as you all said, very well written. However, I believe it is misleading. I believe Vergere may be correct in that Anakin does not actually die.

-Anakin is not shown dying (at least from what we hear)

-Jacen and Jaina are right there, despite heavy fire. They may be able to carry an unconscious Anakin away, especially if Jaina indulges in a bit of Force-lightninging.

I got the impression that Jacen and Jaina were separated from Anakin. Am I wrong about that?
