I swear my mom said that she is going to lock me in my room or tie me down so that I don't go running to the front door every time I hear a car drive by. It's maddening!

I ordered the book off the internet about a month ago and had it overnighted. I did the running to the door deal when Rebirth was coming out.

I have $25 worth of B.Dalton certificates to use, plus I get 10% off because i am a book club member. I'm going to try to get it as early as possible on Tuesday, then head over to Best Buy for the Harry Potter Movie Soundtrack.

Then I can read it (even though I have been spoiled!) and listen to the soundtrack at the same time. As long as I don't get confused!

 

So i have to by SbS as a hardcover now or wait a bunch of months ;-(
Didnt Conquest and rebirth come out as paperback at once ???
Well well only one thing to do Buy the hardcover now and then the paperback later

Btw does anybody know if its posible to get raw material of the books
I have been a bookbinder (and my father has a bookbinder company) and it would be fun to make the books my self with lether binding and titels in gold on the lether
Think about it The whole SW book collection in one of a kind edision
I'll make one for the one who can make this come true (and one for GL if he wants one *lol*)

 

Just checked my local, and the Oz release date is the 28th November!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm laid up in bed with tonsilitis so I have a bunch of people out looking for SbyS for me.

 

I live in OZ and will have the book by next weekend(later than the US) but a lot closer than 4 weeks, as mentioned above, and I live in WA...

 

Mutley, i envy you to the point of...the point of...something really largescale envy-like.
I live in Vic, all my Local bookstores say Dec 1.
I think i might fly to WA to get it...a bit extreme? maybe.

 

I get mine early- Saturday or Sunday- because a friend of mine works at Barnes and Noble! I was so excited when he told me that he could "pull a few strings" and get it for me! Only three or four days left!!!!!

I'm going to go get mine this afternoon. And then stare at it on my bed as I write an Archaeology paper. You know, last year for BP was the night before serious papers were due too....wierd...torture.

WHY DO YOU NEED THE BOOK SO EARLY?!?!?!? STAR BY STAR WILL BE OUT IN SEVEN DAYS, AND THEN EVERY ONE WILL BE ABLE TO READ IT! YOU WILL GET IT AND THE BOOK WILL NOT CHANGE OR BE DIFFERENT IF YOU GET IT TWO HOURS BEFORE THE OFFICIAL RELEASE! BE PATIENT!!!!!

Amen, JediTrilobite! I know we want it and soon it will be ours. I expect to hear any post now that someone picked one up in their local bookstore. Heck, I expect to find mine this weekend like I have the last 3 books in my local Borders.

I can't wait for the book to come out, and i'll get it as soon as I can, but hearing people rant about the due dates is really annoying.

Just to let you all know......I have in the past been able to get books earlier than their release date at Walmart and Costco (membership club). So look there. Go into Walmart and ask if the person in charge on books can look where they store them, that is how I have been able to get mine early. Except this one.....Sithspawn!!!!!
