DFW, TX Star by Star...SPOILERS!

Eric, Old guy, I'm with you guys. The EU, at least for me, has always been a flawed execution. However, I'm a big dork and have nothing better to do than to read any kind of crap they throw out.

Yes, I know it's not all crap, but none of it comes close to the films. Period.

And if you thought Han losing Chewbacca was heartbreaking, SbS blows it away. Not just because of the actual event, which is heartbreaking enough, but the way Troy Denning writes the reaction. Han's line that I posted up above is still haunting me. And the way Leia just collapses screaming and afterwards basically loses the will to live....dark stuff. Han's way of getting her out of it was incredible too. He was literally going to let the Falcon destroy itself with both of them aboard. Because if he didn't have Leia, he didn't want to live either. Now that is some powerful stuff.
