Star Destroyer enigma...

Has anyone else realized the current enigma with Star Wars the Clone Wars?

On the current season premiere I could not help but realize that every time (the only time) they show a Republic Cruiser ease into picture, that I am reminded of the epic shot of a Star Destroyer coming into view in a New Hope...

Why must they do this? We all know that they are trying to base these craft off of the Star Destoyers that we know and love... We all realize that this is da predecessor of the current norm... I can feel the association as much as the next fan but, this choice of entry brings me back to the glory days of Star Wars... help me...

With the Clone Wars being "close but not enough", this association just reminds me of what I am missing...

Jag Fel & the Moffs might roll over in their future graves over this gross excuse of abuse on a current Star Destroyer...
