An odd choice for a name

 

The bridge appears to be asymmetrical in this depiction.

 

Interesting name, love the updated look.

 

Hopefully they given the shield generators a bit more armor in this version.

I was making a joke originally, but in agreeance with you that Finalizer as a name for a Star Destroyer doesn't seem odd.

 

Not really given the mythological refs everywhere. Ah, thanks for explaining. Cushy isn't much given to humour.

 

The name definitely fits into Star Wars.

I wonder if the Resistance has a ship to match it? Remember the Rebels always worried about engaging the old Star destroyers at point blank range. Something about hundreds of turbo lasers blasting the crap out of them I heard lol

 

I think I prefer John. To me, it'll be John The Star Destroyer. Hopefully it will get its own comic.

 

As long as it's not called Bob, as that would make things confusing on this forum.

Yeah I think its fitting and ominous enough for the bad guys flagship.

 

It's got a campy feel to the name, I like it.

These specs are as basic as it gets. Glad about the blueprints, though.

The design is more simplified. It implies that the First Order doesn't have the natural resources that the Empire once had to make them large and extravagant.

 

Fits right alongside the Executor to me. Both a bit off, but nothing majorly wrong. And Like the Executor, I doubt we'll ever hear the name mentioned.

 

I love the name Finalizer. It's vicious and to the point, just like I imagine the First Order to be.

 

also looks like they learnt from past mistakes, like removing the clearly defined sphere which acted as shield generator and easy target No massive pimple-like target for the resistance to take out on this ship!
