Thankyou D-M!! I shall be posting script extracts ...

Fantastic event S-P and M-S (the lovely Adriana :p ). Great location! This will be used again! ;)

And now to the question: Which character says the line, "Stay on target"? The answer supplied as Porkins.

    From the ANH script:

The three TIE fighters race along in the trench in a tight
    formation.

    INTERIOR: GOLD LEADER'S Y-WING -- COCKPIT.

    Gold Leader panics.

GOLD LEADER: (into mike) I can't maneuver!

    INTERIOR: GOLD FIVE'S Y-WING -- COCKPIT.

Gold Five, the old veteran, trys to calm Gold Leader.

    GOLD FIVE: Stay on target.

    INTERIOR: GOLD LEADER'S Y-WING -- COCKPIT.

The Death Star races by outside the cockpit window as he
    adjusts his targeting device.

    GOLD LEADER: We're too close.

    INTERIOR: GOLD FIVE'S Y-WING -- COCKPIT.

    The older pilot remains calm.

    GOLD FIVE: Stay on target!

    INTERIOR: GOLD LEADER'S Y-WING -- COCKPIT.

    Now he's really panicked.

    GOLD LEADER: Loosen up!

I completely give creedence to the fact that it wasn't Gold Leader, but it certainly wasn't Porkins. Porkins was dead by this stage.

*using Indian accent* verrry bad man, milney! :p

    LOL! Let it go guys!

We came second! [face_dancing] Thats pretty good, or we were the first of the losers....not sure which.... either way, we had a ball and did alot of whispering of answers (sometimes too loudly) and an awful lot of laughing.....we may not have won the quiz night, be we were by far, the noisiest table of the night!!

Thankyou to everyone for their kind comments. Alot of hard work goes into organising one of these ( or so we found out as neither of us had organised one before *lol* ) & your support in coming along and having a good time was much appreciated. Thankyou to everyone who came :D

Hey, thanks everyone! So glad you had fun :) My ears are still ringing!! lmao

I checked and the 'stay on target' was one of the questions that milney gave me.

Milney, if you are wondering what they are fussing over, it's because they got it wrong and disputed it... but you know what, they still wouldn't have won. lol The leaders had a lead of 5 points at the end. A job very well done! :)

Thank you again milney for helping with the questions :) I appreciate it! :)

From Wookieepedia : Gold Five was the callsign used by Davish "Pops" Krail when he flew with Gold Squadron during the Battle of Yavin. Pops was killed in the assault against the Death Star.

    Sorry 'bout that

My Official defence of the 'Stay on Target' question:

That EXACT question appears as one of the possibile end-of-game questions on the OFFICIAL Star Wars Trivial Pursuit DVD. It is also the exact question that made me lose the first time I played SW trivial pursuit.

So, not my fault that the answer supplied was incorrect. The Correct answer (as MS has said) is Davish Krail, who was Gold 5, not gold leader.

    So, why was the mistake made? I quote from wikipedia for the answer;

Porkins has sometimes been mistaken for Y-wing pilot Davish "Pops" Krail (Gold 5), who kept reminding Gold Leader to "Stay on target."

So, not my mistake, the SW Trivial Pursuit DVD's.

Apparently not all of my questions were used because some were too obscure. If you guys are interested I can post my original question lists (including one that never made it to the trivia night)

    Nah, that's OK Milney :)

Should never have made it past MS's quality control [face_laugh]

But where would a quiz night be without a little controversy?

That one went straight though to the keeper *lol*[face_laugh]

Spoke to Milney today re: Kit Fisto being the Jedi originally concieved as a Sithlord, I believe the difference was that Luminara was only initially concieved as a possible Sithlord, Kit Fisto was the one that they SERIOUSLY concidered as a Sithlord.

Still, regardless of a bit of controversy it seems that people had a good night & that's the best part. I'm really grateful for the kind words that people have said. It was a great night & may possibly become an annual event :D

i was pleased that i knew almost all of the SG1 questions.

EVEN, sadly enough, the number of symbols on the stargate. (39)

and i was correct also on the meaning of Tok'ra.
It was all around a very fun night.

i got to chop every limb off a jawa, then it's head, then slice it in half.
Oh the fun of a double-bladed lightsaber. I especially love twirling with them...
