The annual Star Trek convention is coming up. Here's the site if you want to check it out. Lots of celebs from different series. The tickets are $25 a day at the door. It's a really good sci-fi convention if you've got the time and $$.

Unfortunately, the not-quite-so-closet Trekkie in me wants to go.

Wil Wheaton was at the Phoenix Comic Con not too long ago. His coolness factor goes off the scale. He has a way cool blog and his writing is awesomeness personified. Funny you see him in the show right, and he's actually a year younger than I am. But he still looks like he's in his 20s. dude

I do remember watching Trek *gasp* before I saw Star Wars when I was a kid.

 

Star Trek was my first love. I remember my mom being totally bewildered by my fasination of it and hoping I'd grow out of it. SW turned into my passion, but I have to thank Trek for leading me that way.

The first Grand Slam I went to was #5. I went to them for 6 or 7 year straight. It went from small to big and now it's back to small again. This is where I learned about the Comic-Con and sci-fi fan groups.

If I have the time and a few dollars that weekend, I'd like to go one day.

Hey JO, want to go in our jedi robes? Wouldn't that be fun!!

 

LOL And jedi mind trick the Trekkies. We could dress up like Galaxy Quest characters. BAHAHA!!! Never give up! Never surrender!! We should do that for Comic Con one of these times.
