Star Trek Legacy

I've only completed the Enterprise missions so far, but you could try the official forums.

 

So is this game worth getting?

 

Not really. Especially the PC .

 

If you like Trek, it's definitely worth getting. It's a blast on the 360.

I think I will need to play it or a demo before I will purchase it. I have my doubts.

 

I just got Star Trek: Tactical Assault for my DS, I love it.

I was only planning to check to see if I could order FFIII and saw it as deal of the week for £9.99 and got it.

I can see this eating a lot of my spare time.

 

I'm getting annoyed with this now, I was fighting 3 klingon ships with another federation ship and yet I was the one taking most (if not all) of the damage, and then I accidentally save my crew upgrades when I was hoping to try a different configuration.

 

Does anyone else have the DS version? I'm really stuck.

I hope this is a good game, Star Trek really needs a decent title.

The only ones I ever liked were the Star Trek 25th Anniversary games (1st one and Judgement Rights), and "Birth of the Federation".

All the others I recall playing sucked.

 

Legacy was good at first, but the amount of bugs and limiting gameplay really killed it. I only play it once a blue moon now.

 

I really like Legacy. The only things I don't like are that you cannot choose what ship(s) your enemy has (which ticks me off because it always chooses the strongest it can get, and sometimes I like to play a weaker ship such as a Nova) and that the story mode is difficult.

Besides those two faults, I like the game. I can't wait for Star Trek Online, though.

 

Thanks for that, it seems I'm not alone in finding Mission 11 to be really hard. Either I get blown up or the other ship gets blown up, either way it's game over.

It's too tempting to get some extra up grade points.

 

In my opinion Legacy was an OK game, but this just doens't look like enough for companies to have interest in developing more ST games (until STXI).
