The numbers are the season number, for my reference, LOL I cant name epsidoes off the top off my head either, just plot lines! "The one where Geori and Ro are invisible" etc ... TNG FTW!

 

Honestly if I've got any say, and as I'll be watching more than "swapping" ( and I'll steal the mote ) I've not a great interest in Original series stuff. All good things is perhaps my greatest ep of all time.

We actually saw that one in the last Star Trek Marathon MD but dont worry there are plenty more beauts And not to worry Kahlan I myself am more liekly to have my eyes glued to Trek for many of those hours!!!

I've just gotten an all-day Sunday shift. Considering I have only one month to save up as much as possible for Europe, I'd be insane not to accept it. As such, I won't be able to make it until about 6pm. If it's still going by then: great. If not, my apologies - I'll have to show up at Tim's later with fifty blank DVDs.

I can't believe the Next Gen dvd sets are only 50 something dollars a saeason! I paid about 170 I think! WOH..and now I don't even own them!

1) What time is kick-off?
2) What should we bring? (vittles, and the like)
3) How many available SATA ports does BBN have, and are they filled?
4) Once we are set up, how will we know who wants what?

I have 2 free SATA ports, and space for 2 IDE drives (3 if I fudge it and hook one up on the same channel as my optical drive, which is frowned upon)

The old fashioned way, I presume: ask. It'll be the usual LAN party-leeching strategy for those on the network: browse everyone else's shared folders and take whatever you like. For those wanting things copied to DVD or onto hard drives they brought, then they just look through the available stuff and tell the person in charge what they want.


Also: You're still bringing your hub, CCD? (Just checking to be sure)

I'd have my laptop, so maybe 30GB of free space... are most DVDs in question pre-re-encoded, or must a complete rip, re-encode and burn take place?

I'll bring whatever pre-encoded stuff I have lying around for direct copy, but probably not much that you guys dont already have...

BBN, did you still want Oblivion? I've got a copy, and I'm not using it if you want to borrow it. I've also got a copy of Prey that I just finished if anybody wants to play it. It's a little short and light on story, but it's a good shoot-em-up, and really pretty in some points.

 

I'll borrow Prey off you, MS, sure. I don't have the time to invest in Oblivion just now, but I will borrow it off you some day.

 

I'll need some address details pm'ed to me if I am to appear. I don't think at this stage I'll bring my computer, rather just my collection of back-up discs. There's a lot to choose from in there, but it won't please all tastes.

 

I'm thinking I might go for a surf tomorrow, if I do then if I decide to come it won't be 'til mid arvo or so. So mark me as a "yeah, if I'm around".
