So, Nemesis opens this Friday - anyone interested in going some time this weekend?

Saturday night will work for us.

 

We'll go. Sunday is the collector's meeting so Sunday is out for us. But Saturday night will work for us unless Dwayne knows something I don't.

Well, according to the reviews, yes. But that isn't suprising. It's a sci-fi movie based on a popular yet geeky scifi series, of course they won't like it, it's in their job description to rip films like this a new one.

I'll try to reserve judgement till I see it.

 

The times don't change from Friday to Saturday. So it applies to both days, however, I think the plan is Saturday night because if we're talking tonight then Dwayne and I are out, we have to work.

Last night I thought the concensus was Saturday, does that work better for everyone else as well?

The 9:00 ones work best for me.

As far as I know we are planning for Saturday.

 

Yeah, Saturday's fine, Marcy--I was just a little confused, and wanted to get my facts straight (I'm working on about 3 hours' sleep right now, so everything's a little fuzzy today! ).

Well, Bob and I might be able to make it tomorrow evening depending on how fast we get our errands done (haircut for Bob, dealership on the car, jeweller [my ruby is rattling in my engagement ring's setting all of a sudden--I don't think it'll fall out, but I'm not waiting to find out], then we have to find a tree and a new tree stand--in short, we are going to be very busy little bees!).

Okay, I'm gonna have to beg to differ. I was talked into going to a showing tonight with some friends (while still planning to go with you all tomorrow night). I regret to say that I cannot in good conscience spend another penny on this crap burger of a movie.

They've finally done it. They made a bad even Trek film. Really bad. Star Trek V bad.

If you're all still really intent on going tomorrow night, let me know if you're doing something afterwards because I'd start retching if I had to watch it again. Or, if y'all wanna go see something else, I'd be up for that too.

Sorry about backing out, but I want to scratch my eyeballs out now.

I saw it last night and almost cried at the ending (if you have seen it, you know what I mean) I actually liked it. It wasn't as good as First Contact, but it wasn't, IMO, as bad as some of the others. There were some plot holes, but this is Star Trek. Plot holes are almost a given.

Sorry I can't join you tonight. I have to work from 2-10. Have fun.

Don't worry. So will we, it's a tradition now. If a movie sucks we start to heckle..quietly so as not to annoy those around us but if you hear me giggling...you know Dwayne is at it again. Oh btw, anyone interested in going to Chumley's or somewhere else after? I'd post elsewhere about it but I can't get to those places from home...

Definitely. Maybe some "blue milk" will help me to forget the movie experience. And maybe I can erase some of last night's as well...

I'll sit next to you. It could be amusing, and considering my blanket hatred of Star Trek, I'd probably agree with you.

 

I'd love to join you all, but I have to start planning for my future. I'll be heading to my best friend's house so she can help me work out the details of budgeting for school and such. Let me know how terrible it is!
