Heh, GDH, The Ale is fairly hideous and it turns your tongue BLUE! As Grim put it, it makes a better decoration to any Sci-Fi fan but that's as far as it goes.

I really need to find a way to watch "City at the Edge of Forever" from the TOS before I see The Movie and I hope but I doubt it, that they would use the same design for The Guardian of Forever and I hope it speaks too.

 

I have an empty bottle of that stuff.. which makes me sad because I had to drink it to make it empty. That stuff is hideous. And made in El Salvador.

 

It comes out the same color too

Oh, BTW, the chips and salsa from the Mexican restaurant next to Starfest were $6. Cha-ching.

 

What else do we want? I have the chips & salsa, I was going to make grilled & nugget "KFC" style chicken wraps. What more would we need?

I was kinda joking about the booze but I have enough stuff to make those too.

I was going to bring an ice chest so if we have to run out to the car & eat in shifts we can. Not sure what the movie theater will think about us chowing down????

Diet Pepsi & water might be good, but again, not sure what we will be able to get away with in line.

 

I was able to score babysitting on Saturday night, so the wife and I will see this Saturday at 7:20 at the Cine Capri.

 

Okie dokie, i will bring a 12 pack of diet pepsi.

 

Just a heads up for those thinking of tailgating the movie line at the Continental. I did this at Indy last year, happily enjoying my Indy food and drink in my cooler and sitting in my lawn chair, when suddenly, and without any warning, they had the line move inside along the hallway. This was probably about 9:30-10pm for the midnight show. once inside, the chair/stereo/cooler had to be stowed. It wasn't anything like Ep III when we were outside the entire time. So if you are going to bring food and drink, eat and drink it EARLY.

I'd like to get there around 5pm, but it will probably be closer to 5:30, depending on Chris' schedule.

Yeah Margs in a non descript cup of some kind, I have an aluminum water bottle (????), etc. Ice chest in the car. Mabye we could munch on chips & salsa if we smile a lot

 

ahhh harkins back to C3 with Long Island in the Nalgenes. I miss my aluminium C4 water bottle that Jana got me...someone stole it.

 

So...we are getting in line when for a show at 7:30?

hey, thats good...that yummy oily crap they put on popcorn has absolutely no butter in it.

my mother is still being a pill about me even going...I am tempted to just bring Bean with me and tell my mom to take the frakkin night off...cant wait til I get this kid in daycare so I can actually go out without enduring lectures and GUILT TRIPS!
