Thank you for telling me what I think. I wasn't aware that I thought that. "Tell us how you really feel" is just a saying. Doesn't mean what you apparently think it means. Have you really never heard it before?
Has that been officially confirmed? Or is this still just in "limbo" (to use Inception's term)? Although even if it is, I guess that's not a good sign anyway. I don't know who said that recent Star Wars games aren't that good, but I agree with them. The only reason I've played anything after Battlefront 2 is for story purposes. Gameplay has been pretty bad on the whole, IMO.
Hmm TFU was a mixed bag for me. I really loved the concept at the beginning, but as I played it it became a bit bland and repetitive for me. I was expecting something a bit cooler and more conservative. Now that I think about it, if you've played Hitman Absolution, I pictured TFU to be something similar but with a lightsaber and force powers. Darker and cooler.
TFU was overhyped, or at least for me. I was so excited I bought it day one. When I beat it I yelled "ITS OVER ALREADY! I ONLY PLAYED FOR 6 HOURS!!" I plan on checking out the novels eventually...
TFU-II was a joke. Felt like DLC for the original and not a new game, twin sabers be damned. (Current comparison to TFU-II would be God of War: Ascension)
At least Ascension was a somewhat decent length. TFU2 was about 5 hours long. Oh, and resurrect the main character, even though he was given a fantastic, fitting finale. Because sequels.
I was under the impression it was the same length - a measly 6 hours? I do know there's a Smash Bros. type mode though, which looked better than the actual game.
Having played both versions, I'd say the Wii version is about an hour or two longer than the Xbox version. Or not. IDK, I haven't played either in a while. The multiplayer is much better than the duel mode from the first game. The first one was a mess, but this one is, yeah, more like Smash Bros. and actually pretty fun.
http://kotaku.com/before-it-was-cancelled-star-wars-1313-was-going-to-be-470003660 This had so much potential. It could have sucked, but it could have bee one of the best sw games ever
Yup, time to get out the funeral pyre for 1313, and never has the term "we hardly knew you" been so apt. Well, unless you start talking about all the other recently "decease" projects post-Disney that are being buried right along beside it...
Just saw a story saying that the main character in 1313 was going to be non other than Boba Fett, which makes sence since the developers said the main character we saw was just a placeholder. Im pissed of, why couldn't they just have waited for this game to be finished, see how it went. And then decide to close Lucasarts or keep it.
