hey everyone, just wanted to post some news. a friend of mine was able to have a private non-profit screening of my star wars 35mm LPP (special low fade print) of star wars. it is originally in spanish, so he used a computer to sync it up with the english stereo soundtrack. by the way, this is the original 1977 'star wars', without the episode 4 in the crawl. that part was spliced in, along with a faded version of the 'han shoots first' scene. the rest was original unfaded and original coloring film stock. i wasn't actually there due to other obligations. however, some people i knew went. it worked out very well. considering the last time a print was screened was the senator screening in 2010. it's getting rarer. however, i plan on another screening somewhere in the southern USA later this year or next. more details about it here: ================== http://originaltrilogy.com/forum/to...LPP-USA-oct-2012/post/602118/#TopicPost602118 there will be pictures and videos of the event posted too. may the force be with you. later -1
