To be fair, the Mara Jade comic had a pretty good depiction of the McQuarrie-style Palace.

Right, I forgot about that one. It's a little fuzzy but it captures the scale very well, towering over everything.

There was a City Planet in Heir to the Jedi, or at least there was a mention of Coruscant in relation to another planet

    That was Denon, actually.

So today's word of the day: Ecumenopolis, a real word describing a planet-wide city. Legends had way more city planets than I thought they did, according to Wookieepedia. Many of the worlds listed on that page have been recanonized, but to my knowledge only Coruscant, Nar Shaddaa, and Denon have been confirmed to be ecumenopolises in canon.

The plural of (o)ecumenopolis is (o)ecumenopoleis.

    :p

Does anyone know if they are going to change the timeline of the comics? Or will it always be between New Hope and Empire Strikes Back?

They'll eventually move past ESB, probably with a big event or something similarly marketable. :p

Eventually SW and DV will merge together into a Battleworld and whichever one survives gets to move past ESB.

And this Battleworld is, of course, called Ord Mantell.

I'm familiar with it I just wasn't sure if maybe they were gonna keep it or move past after the force awakens.

Look at it like this--how many days did the first arc of SW cover? Maybe a week or two? They could do ANH->ESB stories for fifty issues, just like the old comics did, without even covering half of that three years. If they move past ESB or RotJ--and I do believe they will eventually--it'll be 100% an editorial decision, and thus it could come whenever they decide it's appropriate.
