SWRPF Archive Star Wars - A New Beginning

Cleoys head felt a sudden pain a shot of balck suddenly filled the room. Then as quickly as it came, it was gone. "I-I would like to help, sure, but please do not speak to me as though I were a child." She said, wanting to be higher then she was.

Tabitha gasped as she heard a blaster shot.

"What was that?" She demanded, trembling a little. She took a deep breath, trying to steady herself. But after the day she'd had, she couldn't help but be a little afraid.


Bail recieved several messages back, all concerning his previously sent one. All of the Senators in the opposition liked Tabitha a lot, and were quite alright with postponing a meeting in order to have her attend. The other Senators however, were unhappy about it. They felt that they would get what they wanted if Tabitha wasn't there. It was true, they were afraid of her. The thought made the Chancellor laugh. So many people, afraid of sweet Tabi?

But the meeting was postponed, because it was the Chancellor's decision. He smiled to himself. Tabitha would be ready for the meeting.

Cley had seen the blackness, eveil was coming. But instead she said nothing, and waited for instructions, thats all she ever did.

Tal'ya was about to answer Cloey, when Fett came into the room. Throwing something onto the floor, he yelled "I quit!" He then blasted a hole in the wall and left.

Tal'ya was speachless a few seoconds. Shaking her head, she turned back to Cloey.

"If you believe that I am spaking to you as a child, then I am sorry." She bowed to Cloey. "I speak to you, as someone who knows, and cares for the Senator...as her friend."

Tal'ya turned sligtly, jestured towards the Senator. "It would be helpful to have someone nearyby who is close to her, while I channel some of my Force energies into her. I can help her to heal much quicker. If you are willing to help, all you need do, is hold onto the Senator's hand...and think of helping her heal."

Cloey complied, she sat on the egde of the bed, holding her friends hand, thinking, wishing fro her to heal.

Fett flew all over Coruscant, mad as a raging bull. He looked down and saw people walking around. Fett got out his blaster and shot a few.

"Just as I thought I was being a nice guy," he said. "they still didn't trust me.... I'll show them! I'LL SHOW THEM ALL!!!!!"

Fett picked up more speed and flew all the way to the Slave V.

The Stalking Shadow entered Coruscants atmosphere and sped towards the marker Karrde had left. From there he would turn to the new coordinates and dip straight down until he came to Karrde's landing platform.

When he reached the marker he saw Fett speeding by on his jet pack.

"He looks happy" Breyden mused as he swung the Shadow around.

"Let's see if this ship is worth my time" Breyden said to himself. He wasn't worried about Fett, he had escorting Z-95's tailing him secretly.

"Senator, now more than ever you are in danger. My advice is to leave now. The Jedi have information about a few unknown worlds, we could hide you. But I honor you decision, whatever it may be."

"I cannot miss a Senate meeting Master Jedi. Please understand. If the Senate can afford for me to take another leave, I will. But otherwise, I must stay here." She looked up at Cloey, then at Tal'ya.

"Are you two going to begin soon?"

Cloey nodded to the Senator, then nodded to the man standing in the room. She looked down at her dirt ridden clothes, ashamed of her appearance. "Can we please get this done. No offense Senator, but I would like a bath and fresh clothes." She smiled at her friend, one of her rare sinceir ones.

After the abrupt departure of Fett, Tal'ya figgured that they did not have much time.

Tal'ya walked over to the other side of the Senator, while Cloey stood on the other side. She pulled out a small blue stone a held it in one hand. She then closed her eyes are starting channeling healing Force energies though both Cloey and the Senator.
The stone began glowing a brilliant blue.

She scanned the Senators injuries, and concentrated most on the severe ones in the stomach..then continue on to the lesser injuries. Burns, ruptured blood vessels, deep wounds, all begin fade away...She jestured with her hand, to make sure the needles were removed from the senators arm gently. The Senator would still be sore, but both her and the Cloey should feel much better.

She continued to push channeling as much energies as she could into the both of them until she was certain that they would both be fine. Then she, stepped back, away from the Senator. The stone fadded back to normal.

Tal'ya dropped to her knees, and "Obi" flew off the table, and hovered next to her, beeping a series of notes, before landing next to her.

Tabitha was able to breathe properly again after the Jedi had healed her. She saw Cloey look relieved too.

The Jedi dropped to the floor and she leaned over the side of her bed a bit.

"Are you alright? Thank you so much." She said, holding her hand out to the woman.

Cley felt more rested, some of her wounds had been healed. She looked at the fallen Jedi, a concerned smile on her face, she did not want to leave until she knew the Jedi was okay.

Tal'ya's vision had blurred for a bit. She realized she was kneeling on the floor, Obi beeping quietly near her.

While she was channeling energy, she had felt something...wrong. She didn't know if it was from Fett's sudden departure, or something else, but between that and the healing, it had exausted her.

"Are you alright?.." Tal'ya realised that the Senator was speaking to her. Remembering Master Ti's warning, she composed herself, and pulled her hood on her robe over her head. She then rose slowly.

"I...will be fine Senator. And Master Ti is correct. We need to get you out of this place, and somewhere safe quickly...Fett is not the only one we have to worry about."

Tal'ya scooped "Obi" and placed him back in her bag, whistling softly.

"Whenever you are ready, Senator."

bump!

Tal'ya excused herself, walked out the room, taking a seat in the outer room.

She had "obi" scanning the room for any intrusions, while she sat, eyes closed, waiting for the next course of action to be decided.

OOC: Sorry board wouldnt let me edit.

Cloey excused herself as well, she ran straight for her quarters and, within the next hour she was clean, had new clothes, her hair was done and she looked like her old self again.

OOC: Sorry my browser kept freezing when I tried to post in here. Go figure?


Tabitha slid out of the hospital bed. The tile felt cold and she shivered, wrapping the robe they had given her tightly around her. She stepped out into the waiting room and sat down, grateful for a bit of a change.

"I'm ready to leave as soon as the healers have examined me again. I wouldn't want to have to be hauled back here halfway through a meeting to get checked over. And never would I want to frighten these good people!" She added the last bit with quite a lot of sarcasm. She respected the healers, but sometimes they did get on her nerves.

Tal'ya still sat with her eyes closed, and her hood over her head. She murmed softly. "Obi" beeped at her several times, then was quiet again.

She waited.

Ti was alone in the waiting room. He had done a special force trick that his master had tought him. It gave him all the benefits of sleep in a fraction of the time.

Cloey came up into the waiting room, seeing the Jedi she moved quietly to the Senators room.

BIC:
Tal'ya sensed when Cloey had returned. She passed the waiting room, to go into the room the Senator was waiting in.

Tal'ya quielty rose, and went to the outter hallway, pausing as she was looking out the rather large hole Fett left on his departure. She walked over to the desk.

"Can we PLEASE get a healer to look at the Senator quickly. We really need to be going."
..her hand gestured slightly behind the desk.

"Of course! We will be there quickly." replied the lady behind the desk.

Tal'ya nodded slightly, and went back to the door outside the waiting area. She leaned against the wall.

Fett was still flying....

"Hmmm," he said. "You know, I could get a lot if I could catch the senator.... And I would be finding out who put up the bounty...."

He laughed at the thought of the rat who used Bunga's name....

"I'll do it," Fett said, as he made a U-Turn back to the building.

Cloey entered the room where the Senator was waiting fro healing. She bowed a small one then looked at her friend. "How are you feeling Senator?" She asked.

"I suppose I'm all right, a little sore, but otherwise fine." Tabitha answered as a healer came in. She checked her over quickly behind a screen and prnoounced her fit to go, after hearing how she made such a quick recovery.

Tabitha dressed again and found the Jedi. "I'm ready to go." She told the woman.
