Star Wars: A Time of War

Story:

In the year 3881 BBY, the Jedi along with the Republic were fighting for the universe against the Sith armies and their Dark Jedi Warriors. For years they had been fighting, but never like they were at the time. Even Jedi had began to strike more viciously and thoughtlessly, as for many, the Jedi Code could matter less in these situations. So as war went on for over 30 years, little by little, Jedi numbers were fading away slowly, and Dark Jedi were dying in their own darkness and fear. In the end, only those Jedi who fled into hiding and those Dark force adepts who merely lived had survived the eradication of the force adepts. Now, in the year 3850 BBY, only Soldiers and War generals fight in war, as for no more Jedi are left to lead them into battle. The Sith have no more great powers of darkness, as for now only mere soldiers fight on. Ravishing cities and planets is their goal, and little by little, the Republic seeks to annihilate the threat....

He joined the Sith in the fight for the galaxy, and quickly became a well known Dark Jedi. He was promoted to the rank of Dark Jedi Knight when he was 24, during a battle in which he killed many Jedi.

He is one of the last surviving Dark Jedi. He has promoted himself to Dark Jedi Master, and plans on killing the remaining jedi.

---Personal History: Aaron was born to two powerful people within the Republic. His father was an Admiral in the military, and his mother was a senator from Commenor. He idolized his father in many ways. His father taught him how to shoot like an expert Bounty Hunter, and swordfight like a trained jedi. He joined the military at the age of 17 and was there when his father was killed durring a battle with the Sith. His mother wanted him to drop out, not wanting to lose another person in her family, but he wouldn't listen, determined to avenge his fathers death.

Now he is still a soldier, not wanting anything more. After the war, he plans on trying to become an Admiral, like his father...if he survives.

---Personal History: Born on the planet Falleen, Jorak was raised with a poor family. He never did anything with his life until he was 75 years old. At that time, he wanted to join the military. He began working out, excersising, practicing how to shoot and fight. At the age of 80, he joined the Sith military and began as a soldier.

At the age of 99, the war with the Republic broke out. During that war, he became a well known figure. During a battle, he killed a few jedi, at the Battle of Manaan. After that, he was promoted to Commander, and led a fleet of 5 flagships, and 10 cruisers, against a Republic fleet with double that, and came out victorious. After that, he was promoted to General, and at the age of 124, he became an Admiral of the Sith fleet. Now he stops at nothing to win the war for the Sith.

---Personal History: After the Mandalorian Clans split up after the war with the Republic, the Mandalorians had been raiding worlds to relive the old days. Lance was part of a large group of warriors that frequently pillaged the planet Abridon. One day, Lance and his fellow warriors were ambushed by a large Republic attack force. All of the Mandalorians were killed, except for Lance, who escaped. Lance was later ambushed himself by ten Jedi. He killed every last one of them with his Vibrosword. That, and his will to survive kept him alive, and his injuries minimal. After dispatching the Jedi, Lance fled once more to his comrade?s ship. Several Republic troops went after him. Darth Kryad, who happened to be in the area at the time, saw the slaughter of the Jedi and followed Lance. Kryad killed his pursuers and approached the Mandalorian. Lance decided that he would swear unconditional loyalty to the Sith Lord for saving him.

IC as General Mandible & Colonel Cutter, Coruscant Republic Base

Down in the buildings of Coruscant, lies the Republic base. Inside, all military units are constantly being rushed to prepare weapons, explosives, and themselves for the ongoing war. Men running from place to place, finishing up final preparations needed for the day. Soldiers pumping oil and men boarding onto the ships for take off. Within all these work rooms and hangars, lies a small office, far to the east of the base. It lies on the higher levels, where production can be watched over carefully, and everythin is overseen by the higher authorities. In that office their is the grand leader of the Republic army. He is a General, with great leadership skills and incredible special tactics in war. Along his side is a life-long friend, a Colonel of the republic, who also has much experience and fighting memories. Their names are General Mandible, and Colonel Cutter. In their high office, a low rank soldier steps in with his daily report of the Republic war.

Mandible: Status? What was the outcome of our current battle on Telos, soldier?

Soldier: Well, sir, the good news is we were victorious in this battle.

Mandible: And the bad?

Soldier: Well, we too suffered incredibly high casualty...

Mandible: How many?

Soldier: All dead sir, every last one.

Cutter: All dead? Not one survived?

Soldier: None. But the Sith also lost their fleets and their men on ground. We were both victorious and defeated.

Mandible: Very well, soldier. Keep up the good work. Dismissed.

The soldier slightly bows before leaving the room. He heads down the elevator back down to the command center. Meanwhile, the General and the Colonel discuss the recent issues.

Cutter: Another grave loss. Mandible, we cannot keep this up. Soldiers are dying greatly in numbers by the day. We must get down on the defensive!

Mandible: No, no we cannot do that! If we let the Sith open fire upon us, then are defenses will surely be frail. We will continue as we are now, and that is how we will win this war.

Cutter: Very well, Mandible...

Gonni stood on the balcony of his gaint tree mansion as he watched the planets star rise. He looked around the landscape to see activity of the small town below commence. His home planet was a private peaceful world, technology went hand in hand with the nature. It mostly consisted of large forests and jungles, with many trees and animals. His people were a peaceful people, lived a long age compared to most other galactic species and even longer if they were force adept; which many were.

Gonni got off the balcony and made his way back to the inner chambers where he put on his Jedi robes. How he wished he could live out his days here in peace and harmony, this world was a perfect paradise. He casually levitated his lightsabers to him, strapping them in his inner robe, then he walked slowly out of the room. "At war the galaxy is." Gonni reminded himself as he sat on a tall winged mammal set to go to the ship hanger, "Long enough have you been hidden, make things right...you must."

Gonni had been in hiding for 30 years. Now he would make a stand against the Sith and make things just, for the sake of everything he charished.

Korriban - Sith Temple - Darth Kryad's Throne Room

IC: Darth Kryad, Lance Carcer

• Korriban's sun had fallen below the horizon. Darkness quickly swept across the Sith world. The night made the planet seem more haunting than it really was. This was one of the many reasons why it was Darth Kryad's favorite time of day here.



• Kryad was concealed within the throne room of his twisted, gothic Sith Temple at the center of Korriban's city of Dreshdae. He gazed out of a massive window and into the blackness of the newly arrived night.



• The distant mountains that looked like dark waves of ocean water against the inky blue-black, the multiple moons that glowed a vibrant white via the sun's light, and the firey stars - red, blue, yellow, and white - were pleasing to the Sith Lord's two eyes.



• Kryad's throne room was probably one of the last places a hero wanted to be; a place where one wouldn't want to be caught dead or alive. It was very dark inside. Really, the only light - red light for that matter - was that which came from a few scattered ceiling lamps. There were a few computer terminals in the throne room as well, but they didn't give off much light. That wasn't their purpose anyway.



• The cavernous room was eerily silent most of the time. Even the sound of a pin drop would scare the living daylights out of a sentient being. A thundercrash, however, would proably put that person into shock.



• The walls of the throne room were decorated with the skulls and lightsabers of all the Jedi that Darth Kryad, his strikingly beautiful, but deadly apprentice Mia Hardestky, and his loyal friend, bodyguard, and handy man Lance Carcer had killed. Hundreds of skulls. Mostly from those of humanoids.



• The ventilation systems filtered a cool air into the room. Combined with the given atmosphere, it was treated as an otherworldly chill.



• Kryad's throne itself was a mechanical swivel-chair. Lance stood to the left, not making a sound. To the right was a pedestal that rose about three feet off the floor. Atop that was a Sith Holocron, which contained all of the teachings of Darth Vorlock's master, the belated Darth Vorlock himself, and a few additions by Darth Kryad. Kryad made use of it while he educated Mia in the ways of the Sith.



• Two Sith Troopers escorted in one of Darth Kryad's fleet Adrmirals, Admiral Korus. He was usually one of the most competent men that worked the Sith War Machine. Kryad rotated his throne to face them. Lance turned around to see them as well.

• Darth Kryad: "How goes the Battle of Telos?"


• Admiral Korus: "A draw. The Republic opposition was eradicated. To our misfortune, however, most of our ships above the planet were destroyed."


• Darth Kryad: "You should know by now, Admiral, that I do not take kindly to the loss of a large number of fighters and cruisers. You're supposed to protect our ships and ensure minimal losses, no matter how much the Republic loses to us!"


• Admiral Korus: "Uh, yes my Lord. It won't happen again. I assure you!"


• Darth Kryad: "I hope not, Admrial. I frown upon failure and/or broken promises. Do not cast a poor reflection upon me a second time. You're dismissed."


• Admrial Korus: "Yes, Lord Kryad."

• Lance spoke immediatley after the Sith Troopers escorted Admiral Korus out of the throne room.

• Lance Carcer: "That could have been worse."


• Darth Kryad: "Quite."


• Lance Carcer: "The man is clearly terrified of you. Your methods of inflicting fear upon others is most commendable, if I do say myself."

Aaron heard about the loss at Telos. He had lost one of his dearest friends, and wanted to get back at the Sith. He walked to Mandibles quarters, and walked in, and saluted him.

"Sorry for bothering you sir. I heard about the loss at Telos, it is a great loss. I was wanderin, what are we going to do now that we lost so many people?"

Korriban

Admiral Son paced back and forth in his room. He had just lost a massive amount of troops at the battle of Telos. He knew he sould have went. He shouldn't have sent Colonel Jad, but he did. Now the Colonel was dead, and he deserved to die, if he wasn't smart enough. He needed to figure out what the next move was. The Sith needed to stike while the Republic was weak. They needed to strike now.

IC: Nemisis

Nemisis sat in his room, meditating, using the force to levitate himself. He wanted to make himself stronger. The stronger he would be, the more powerful he would be. The more power, the more rule he could have. He wanted to rule, he wanted to be the man to takes this war to the Republic. He needed to, for the sake of the Sith.

• Two Sith Troopers carrying a message from Darth Kryad made their way to Admiral Son's quarters. They let themselves in and saluted.



• "Our apologies for stepping in like this, Admiral," one of them spoke. "Darth Kryad has summoned you to his throne room in the Sith Temple."



• "We should go at once," said the second Trooper. "Kryad doesn't like to be kept waiting."

IC as General Mandible, Republic Head Office

Mandible was looking out his screen window, as he watched many of his men preparing to move out, for war. He was distracted when the door behind him opened up. Mandible turned around and saw that it was one of the soldiers, named Aaron Onasi. The soldier saluted, and addressed him.

Aaron: Sorry for bothering you sir. I heard about the loss at Telos, it was a great loss. I was wondering, what are we going to do now that we lost so many people?


Mandible: Do not worry, soldier. We will keep on gaining strength until the Sith are destroyed. We've had recent reports that some ships have been spying upon the planets of Dantooine, Manaan, and Alderaan. We will sent troops to those planets.

Mandible then headed to his desk, and sat in his chair. He uploaded his computer screen, and looked at the roster for troops. He then chuckled and looked at Aaron.

Mandible: Looks like your next on the list.

IC as Colonel Cutter, Republic Hangar Bay

The colonel strolled about the hangar. He watched as some of the ships began to leave, prepared for anything. He watched as some were still in progress, as they were being built up with supplies and new upgrades. He also watched as some empty spots were once again filled up as some ships came in heavily and minorly damaged, and he saw that some didn't come back at all. Cutter stopped walking about as he came up to one the pilots ready to leave.

Cutter: Pilot, I have a special mission for you.

Pilot: Wh-

Cutter: Do not speak just listen. I want you to go to these coordinates, and track down some Sith spy machines, understood?

Pilot: Yes sir.

The two saluted themselves as the pilot took off, into space.

ic Gonni, Manaan

Gonni landed his small ship in Port 3 after a Selkath fighter escorted him down. As He walked out of his ship he took note of the heavy security and the four Troops that were walking towards his ship.

"What is your business here?" The head of the guards said tastlessly as he looked down on the small Gonni.

He looked around and glanced up at the guard, remembering how tough the Selkath were on security.
"Business? Come to make repairs on my ship and trade, I have."

*1 Hour later*

After Gonni got through the overprotective Selkath security, he made his way down to the inner city. He began looking for groups of Republic soldiers and Sith soldiers. Manaan was a strictly nuetral planet. Right now he was just looking for information to get back in the action, tell him what the Sith and Republic have been up to.

IC as Shady Rodian, West City of Manaan

In the West branch of the inner city of Manaan, was a shady rodian who never spoke to travelers, only those he thought he could have some business with. He also was a high dealer in smuggling and forging Pazaak cards. He was a very above average Rodian when it came down to wealth, especially with all the money he gained by doing so many illegal jobs. As he rested upon the wall, he noticed a creature walk right into the city, one he would never see in these streets. He knew that his rare species were known for mastery in the force. The shady Rodian without a name decided to get involved.

Shady Rodian: Hey you...Jedi....come here...need information? Some smuggling? Rare trades? I'm your man.

He said in his language, assuming the short creature would understand.

ic Gonni, Manaan

Gonni walked down the streets when he noticed some creature calling him in the Rodian language. Gonni knew many languages including Rodian but he had not used them in so long. It took a moment to refresh his memory.

"Yes." Gonni said as he smiled to himself. "Abscent I have been, for a very long time. Tell me what you can about the Republic and Sith." He stopped and realized that this Rodian would most likely want pay for his information. He carefully took out half the credits he had and decided to use Mind trick if the creature charged to high. Rodians were known to be scammers.

"Please, tell me what you know. Cheap I am not."

Shady Rodian: Yes, yes. Jedi, er-

He said, not knowing the Jedi's name. He then shook his head, ignoring that part.

Shady Rodian: Nevermind that. So, you want info on the Republic and the Sith? Very well, I'll give you a fair price, Jedi.

He thought about it for awhile, scratching his head and rubbing his chin, then gave a greedy smiled to the Jedi.

Shady Rodian: I will expect no less than 2300 credits, Jedi.

Gonni looked at the Rodian but concelled his shock. 2300 credits?!

"A Jedi I am not. A tourist I am." Gonni sighed, he didn't need some Rodian giving out information to others, informing them that there was a Jedi seen on Manaan.

Gonni steadily calmed himself in a matter of seconds and used Jedi Mind trick.

~"Fair, the price seems." ~ Gonni said as he worked the trick, slightly raising his hand. ~:Wise you are. 1500 credits you shall recieve...Now what have the Republic and Sith been up to?....

Shady Rodian: Yes..1500..NO! No! Do not try that again, Jedi! Mind tricks can't be used on my mind! If you don't have the credits then I'll lower it down to 2000 but no less!!

The rodian exclaimed angrily as he felt the effects of the mind trick quickly fade away. He then shook it off and starred at the Jedi until he responded.

Korriban-Dreshdae-Sith settlement

The Admiral sat down, planning an attack to give to the leader of the Sith, Dark Kryad. Right now his mind was blank, he couldn't think of any thing. Then, it came to him, a good plan. A perfect plan, but it would take a while. And it had a possible chance of failing, but it was the only thing they had.

He began recording his plan into a datapad, then got up. As he headed for the door, two soldiers came in.

"This better be important." He said.

"Darth Kryad has summoned you to his throne room in the Sith Temple."

"Wow, I was just about to go to him."

"We should go at once," said the second Trooper. "Kryad doesn't like to be kept waiting."

"Yes, I know." Jorak replied as he headed out of his quarters. The Sith troopers led him to the middle of Dreshdea, the Sith settlement on Korriban, and into the throne of Darth Kryad.

Jorak saw the Dark Lord sitting on his throne. Being around this powerful man made him feel intimidated. He was use to being the guy to boss people around, as he spent most of his time in his flagship, the Black Hawk. This man was one of the only people that was aloud to give him orders.

Jorak bowed. "You wanted to see me, milord?"

Mandible walked to his desk. He got on his computer, and Aaron noticed a list of people. Mandible laughed a bit, then looked at Aaron.

"Looks like your next on the list."

Aaron smiled. "Thank you, sir!" He said with a salute. He wanted to see some battle. He hadn't been in a battle for a while, and needed the adrenaline rush of battle. "When do I ship out sir?" He didn't want to sound anxious, but he did. He waited for a response.
