IC: Darth Kryad

Agony. That's all the Sith Lord felt. But like Darth Vorlock hat taught him, pain could be controled, channeled, and unleashed. And from things destroyed, new things could be created.

"Nah! I will not be stopped!"

Darkness flooded Kryad's mind again, putting out its fires. The storm grew worse. Waves leapt up and the winds intensified. Lightning came down upon Ahto, repeatedly, razing buildings to the ground in miniature supernovas of fire and shrapnel.

"Arrgh! But you will!"

The Dark Side of the Force pierced Manaan's soul, infecting the water world. Earthquakes shook the surface below the water skin, causing tremors in the city. Kryad spread his hands and called two lighting bolts from the sky to him. Using the Dark Side to fuel his power, he hurled them in a nigh unblockable and unavoidable thrust at Lorelli.

IC: Lance Carcer

"What the - !"

Lance fell to the ground, along with a few other Mandalorian and Sith soldiers after clearing out a Republic-infested area. Lance picked himself up and latched himself onto a wall mounted pipe, bracing himself as he examined his surroundings.

"The place is coming apart! The planet's going crazy!"

Lorelli Rex

Lorelli was expelled from Kryad's mind and blasted clear over then main city by the lightning bolts. She landed in on of the seas, injured and needed medical attention.

Nice move Kryad, I guess it's my turn now.

Lorelli began to recite an ancient Jedi Incantation, drawing the lightside into herself as far as possible. She rose to the surface of the ocean and began to form a Tsunami beneath her. It quickly turned into a relentless pillar of water. She pulled it back towards the city and towards Kryad. The pouring raing form the sky began to be pulled into the column. The shoreline began to receed slightly with the immense drain.

Ready, aim, fire

She released the water torrent almost at point blank range to Kryad. For good measure, she shot a bolt of force lightning down it.

IC: Darth Kryad

Kryad simply extended a hand, stopping the tsunami in its path.

Then he got an idea.

Using the Force, he picked out one of the two larger commadn vessels he felt above the planet. Kryad combined the electrified tidal wave with his tornado, twisted them into a spiraling column of the three elements, and shot them towards the vessel he chose with a wave of his arm.

Republic fleet

The republic command ship 'The Longbow' was hit full force by the column. It was knocked clear out of it's orbit, whith the crew desperately trying to regain control. All attempts were unsucessful, they were careening directly towards three of the Sith craft. The commander ordered the self destruct of the ship to be set of 15 seconds. As 'The Longbow' exploded, it blew all three of the Sith ships near it down into the atmosphere of Manaan. At the entry angle they had, they began to disitegrate due to the friction. On board the other republic command ships, the crew were silent. partially out of respect for their comrade, partially out or horror.

Lorelli Rex

Lorelli landed sqaure on top of Kryad. She grasped her hands firmly around his neck and began to squeeze with both sides of the force.

"That ship had some of my friends on board, as well as Master Twai. You have jsut made your biggest mistake Kryad."

Lorelli's eyes turned to fire. There had olny been one Sith in history to have done that, Lord Tyrannus. Lorelli's grip on Kryad throat tightened. Her voice becommng darker and darker.

"I learned much from my father, much more than the Sith ever will."

Kryad's eyes flashed, a blinding glow. "You succeed at nothing but increasing my rage, Jedi!"

Clenching his teeth, Kryad gripped Lorelli's arms. Red bolts of energy surrounded his foreams like some sort of bizarre vambraces and, with a Force Drain ability, Kryad started ripping Lorelli's life force from her, his storm growing stronger in the process.

Lorelli Rex

Lorelli's grip didn't release from Kryad's throat as he began the force drain. The grip increased. Lorelli's force presence was being ripped from her. She spoke, but her voice was now darker and more evil than Kryad's.

"Very foolish Kryad. You don't actually understand what you just did, do you?"

Lorelli stood up, force choking Kryad into the air, her force-presence completely drained.

"She warned you of her past and of your own History. But you were too short sighted to listen."

The force choke became tighter and tighter. Kryad was being held 30 feet in the air.

"Now, witness the power of Lord Tyrannus, Dark Lord of The SITH."

Tyrannus's image covered Lorelli's. He drew his sabres from his cloak and placed them in the air in front of him, holding them in place with the force. He released Kryad from his grip and allowed him to fall to the ground. Lightning began to dance around them, creating cracks and uneven ground. Tyrannus took hold of his sabres, igniting them. Their red glow became instantly enshrouded in red lightning.

"Get up, you vermin. Try and beat the master of the darkest Sith power, Dark-side Death."

IC: Vrack Sedroth

A sharp pain! Sedroth gagged and collapsed on the floor, everything going black.

What happened to me?

Then it all came back to him. Vrack Sedroth had never told anyone, save for Lord Kryad himself what his past was riddled with.

He lied. He was no common soldier. Though that's what Mia may have heard of his reputation, she knew not of his well guarded past. All for his ideals, he was cast down and robbed of his connection to the Force.

The Jedi. They stole it from me. Yet all the while without my powers, I have become stronger, mastering my body.

Kryad's corruption of the planet had awoken a sleeping giant within the General and reawakened the Vrack himself. He arose and turned to see Mia, his eyes flooded with bloody tears and his hands trembling.

Kryad took a stand, ignoring the taunts of the Jedi. "You cannot stop me! I am the Dark Lord of the Sith! I am your destruction!"

Kryad's body shook, enveloped in a white flash.

It grew. The Sith Lord's outline became larger.

And larger.

And larger.

Tyrannus Rex

"Your feeble mind tricks are no match for me boy."

The disgust in Tyrannus' last word was clear. He waved his hand and Kryad appeared at his normal size.

"Did Vorlock teach you nothing?"

Kryad collapsed onto the ground, his power exhauseted. He supported himself with his knees and hands.

"Y-you... You would dare berate the one learner of the great Darth Vorlock? Me? The one who learned so much from the one who was so wise. The arrogance!"

Kryad's outraged defiance was obvious in his tone.

"You would berate the one who has allowed the Sith to be stronger than ever? The Sith's chance at empire is at hand. Nothing in the galaxy is able to stop us with I, Lord Kryad, at our helm. Master Vorlock told me all about you. Your war against the Jedi was a struggle at every turn, even less of one during his rule. And now, no one has been able to force us back from whence we came."

Kryad growled and forced himself to his feet.

"If you are the Sith who I believe you to be, you will not devoid us of our chance at total domination. Torture me to your black, proud heart's desire, Lord Tyrannus, but I'm not dying today."

Tyrannus Rex

"Your words carry little strength Kryad. The Jedi Order was almost extinct during the end of my rule. It was my daughter who brought them back to strength."

Tyrannus raised his hand and brought it back down. A bolt of lightning crashed between him and Kryad, splitting the crust and exposing the mantle of Manaan. The Magma's glow was a fire-red, just the way Tyrannus liked it.

"Your arrogance almost cost you your life. The Sith have no place for weak vermin like you."

Tyrannus threw a bolt of lightning at Kryad's feet.

Kryad held out his hand and fed off Tyrannus' bolt. He altered his stature and stood proud, refreshed and restored.

"Then you should have killed her when you had the chance. But you were a fool. All these years and I have finally destroyed her for you. My frustration builds with the fact that she bred and that I now have a mess to clean up in no small part due to you. You were a stupid man, Lord Tyrannus."

Tyrannus Rex

"Stupid, no. Foolish in the moment where I allowed her to choose her destiny, possibly."

Tyrannus took a step over the gap between him and Kryad. There was a 1000 foot drop to the magma below.

"You have showed promise recently. Vorlock has been watching you closely, but is disapointed by the fact that you failed to bring his remains to Rhen Varr."

What could I possibly have done wrong? Master Vorlock lies entombed in the Sith Temple on Korriban. And what lies on Rhen Varr? My master never mentioned anything significant being there.

Kryad held his tongue. Two Jedi remained.

They shall hear nothing.

Kryad extened his hand. The air rippled in front of him and he cast the Jedi into the chasm below.

Tyrannus Rex

Very good, my young Sith. I shall say no more here. But I will inform you of this. Bring Vorlock's body to Rhen Varr. I will meet you there and you shall see why.

Tyrannus pulled his cloak over his head and vanished from above the lava. Kryad would be able to find him on Rhen Varr.

Mia's eyes widened as she saw Vrack with bloody eyes and trembling hands. Mia finished off one of the last groups of fish fillets and sprang to Vrack. She was there and worried as ever. She had no idea what was going on. He had been acting strange since they started more chaos and blood spill on Manaan.

"Vrack what's going on? What's happening to you? I believe there is something you haven't told me," Mia faught herself to not panic and she stayed calm and spoke as the apprentice of Kryad, but she was really worried now.

Lightning struck upon the planet and wind spirled all around. The cloak Sedroth had given to Mia before reaching the planet whipped rapidly and harshly. Her eyes stared at Vrack and wasn't worrying about anyone else around.

As this all was happening, Mia's mind spun to her master. He was in a great battle, no it couldn't be, but it was, Lord Tyrranus. Mia trembled a little, and a shiver shot up her back. Mia only hoped Kryad would survive.

IC: Vrack Sedroth

Vrack found it nescessary to gasp for some air for a moment.

"You deserve an explanation, but it is a story for another time. For now, we have a planet to conquer and I am fit to do battle. Please forgive my display."

Is it all coming back to me? I feel... I feel... Do I live fully again?

All was clear of enemies and Vrack moved close to his partner. He felt wonderful around her, but it seemed that their bond had strengthened.

"Stay with me, Mia. Help keep me strong."

ooc: Let say that I am extremly sorry that I haven't posted lately, I was involved with a play and I didn't have much time to do anything but that and homework. But now the play is through, and I have my free time back.

ic Gonni

Gonni had been silent for what may have seemed like an enternity to any other Jedi.

After all the Dark Lord of the Sith was here, why was he doing nothing? The only thing that had broken his concentration was Oriana.

What will we do, we can take the other Sith, but few are powerful enough to take Kyrad.

Gonni quickly glanced at Oriana and gave her a small grin. The white hairs on his head shifted, and his fuzzy brows bunched closer together, like he was deep in thought. |Shhhh...Do not fear that which does not deserve your fear, your power is your esteem, and your will to back it up. I sense another dark presence here, not....not yet detected by this Kyrad. Let us watch.|

As he listened to Lorelli and Kyrad talk he got an uneasy feeling in his stomach, something wasn't right. He edged nearer to Oriana, not out of fear, but out of a sense of duty. He felt he needed to protect her from any harm that may come their way. "Oriana," Gonni said in a whisper, the foundations of the planet began to shake and he held out his hand and produced a sheild, a protective barrier for both of them. Her mothers voice began to rise. "Oriana, what is wrong with your mother?" But his question was answered before those final words left his lips.

/Rhen Var/ Gonni thought to himself, as the Sith Lords finished arguing.

Then he felt a small push against himself an Oriana. He he looked down, to see himself falling, along with Oriana. ||Oriana, I am sorry that I will not be able to reunite with your brother today. But you defend Manaan, you guys can have it...if you want it enough. My fight is somewhere else, but yours is on top...not in this firery doom.| There was a pause in Gonni's silent speech, as he began to prepare himself for his own journey. He took a deep breathe, they began to fall faster and faster towards the lava. Then he opened his mouth, "So go, be on top. " A bright flash streaked through the temple, as he mentally placed Oriana on the pillars high above.

He needed to fight the greater evil at hand. He starred at the lava...and vanished.

Oriana Rex

'Gonni, No!

It was too late, Oriana watched as Gonni dissapeared. Oriana had seen enough. She knew that she wouldn't be able to handle the Sith, especially not with Lord Tyrannus Rex advising them. She contacted every available member of the Jedi council to inform them of the situation.

"Yes Master Shrinii, the Sith Lord Rex has returned via my mother, his closest relative. Her force-presence was completely removed by Kryad, which allowed Rex to posess the body. I would request that all Jedi be pulled from Manaan until further notice. Skylynnus has informed me that the Republic is sending re-inforcments for the fleet. They should be able to hold them off Manaan."

"Where is Master Serveron, Oriana?"

"He said that he would be heading to the Allied Tion Sector, to watcher over the Sith controlled systems. He said he would be available via holonet if required. I'll be returning to Coruscant shortly Masters."

Skylynnus Rex

Sky felt the huge surge of the darkside. His worst fear was confirmed. Tyrannus Rex had returned. He could feel Kryad with his Sith followers.

'Kryad, you haven't taken Manaan yet. And I think I'd be a little more concerned about your fleet, especially seeing as three of your ships have struck the atmospere and are burning up. I think we need to catch up sometime. Maybe at your place. I know my way around the Temple at Korriban, especially after my last visit.'

Manaan's Orbit

IC: Sith Fleet

No one had been sure what the mysterious blast from the planet was, but neither side wished to see such again. One Republic Command Cruiser, Three Sith Interdictors - the losses were nigh equal.

If the other Command Cruiser was destroyed, the Republic fleet would be in disarray. Grond charged at full speed towards the vessel with two Sith Interdictors, Sentinel and Dullahan, providing escort. Grond hurled missiles from her bays, in perfect arcs, that exploded onto the enemy vessel. Grond plowed on and when she was in range, she unloaded her Turbolasers into the Republic ship. Quadlaser fire from her escorting vessels followed.

The Mandalorian Cruisers, dark gray masses with blue markings, delivered their final wave of Basilisks and deployed their fighters to join the battle and heaved missiles of their own at the Republic ships.

The Mandalorian fighters, supported by Sith fighters, specifically targeted those critical to firing the superlaser, hurling proton torpedoes as the got in range.

Countless warheads from the Sith fleet flew everywhere, ramming into the Republic vessels, piercing their shields and tearing apart their hulls.

Mia had only nodded to Vrack's request. Of course she was going to be around him. They were now and they started something, and now they were going to finish it.

"Just don't pass out on me," Mia stated as she smiled and gave him a quick peck on the cheek and started back towards frightening the citizens and destroying the buildings.

It was always intriguing and exciting to barge through homes and markets and take what you could, and destroy the rest that was not important and disappointing to look upon. The city was in chaos, and screams were found out all around. Blood shed upon the stone and streets, and the smell of dead bodies filled the air.

The rage for blood grew stronger and stronger in Mia, as she knew soon she'd be in a battle to the death with Xanemia and (whatever your character is DarkSithDrew).

Her eyes glowed, and her lekku swung as she charged into other buildings. A market with real stones and jewels and materials, trading materials went down in flames and bursts with just a few swings of the coloumns. With the force Mia had a bag of very interesting things from incenses and spices to jewels and diamonds. Mia knew this would all benefit the Sith Order.

A few Republic soldiers charged at her with pathetic firearms. Mia stood there and had a smile upon her face.

"You're under arrest," one called out, and Mia could tell they were shaking in their insides.

Mia laughed to herself as these young Republic soldiers were trying to stop a Sith and create order back on Manaan. She shook her head and looked up at them. She strolled up to them, and the soldiers had no idea what to do as they looked at each other.

"Do you really think that stopping me will bring back sovereignty and peace back to your planet. There are many more of us around. I suggest you run along and try to help your civilains. That is all you can do. I'll spare you your lives and disgrace by letting you go. Believe me, you don't want to mess with me," Mia mocked them and spoke articulately and calm.

The soldiers gave glances back at each other and to her. With an instant they started running off. With a sudden jerk they were stopped. They gasped as they were lifted in the air, and with the instant cracks of their necks, they collapsed upon the ground with a thump. Mia knelt down above them, and she kissed her leather, gloved hand and placed her hand upon their faces. Mia drew out her glass, handled dagger out of her belt. With some slices and gathering Mia had a few bottles of blood filled.

"Blood creates panic, thank you for helping me in creating chaos upon your planet, the traitors you are to Manaan," Mia shook her head and stood up.

Mia looked around and gave a low, sedistic, evil laugh as she was satisfied with her work.

IC as Aaliyah Pravus

Aaliyah threw her black cloak over her small corset and kept both her blood red lightsabers in both hands, her golden eyes watched the Jedi and then followed Kryad and Ni.

Aaliyah didn't fight much, it was mostly watching them fight.

Later, I will have what I wish. But for now we must do what we planned to do...

Republic Fleet

Bulkheads and ship fragments were flying everywhere. For every ship that the republic's superlaser craft destroyed, one of the republic cruisers was damaged to the point of abandonment. The casualties were appaling from both sides. Thousands of fighter craft had been destroyed, hundreds of thousands of soldiers on both sides were aboard ships that were destroyed.

"Attention all Republic craft. Use any means neccesary to disable the remaining Sith resistance. We are not allowed to let Manaan fall into Sith hands."

The five remaing superlaser craft broke away from blackade positions. They took up point positions and began to fire at the Sith craft in pulse mode. The laser pulses burst through theenemy craft like a hot knife through butter. While the Sith cruisers were being attacked, the Blade ships had already begun their invasion of the Sith command ship. Barely 30 of the squadron had been destroyed. The rest had successfully infiltrated the Sith defences. The squadron broke up into commando teams, utilising surprisingly accurate intellgence of the ships layout. The commando teams reached several key locations, including power distribution, command control networks, propulsion, life support, gravity & weaponry. They began to place their charges, while under fire from the internal security officers.

Skylynnus Rex

Skylynnus found a small cavern. If there was a time when he needed guidance, it was now more than ever. He reached out to the force, hoping for it to speak back to him, as it had done before.

'I call upon the knowledge of Masters long gone, b ut still with us. I am in need of guidance.'

IC: Nemisis

Nemisis and the squad of soldiers decended into the mines where kolto was produced. Kolto was a major resource used throughout the galaxy mainly for healing purposes. The Selkath currently controlled them, but soon, the Sith would.

He had deactivated his sabers during the decent, figuring it would be best for a surprise attack. When he entered, he took a small fratcion of the soldiers with him, and made the others go off in other directions. He didn't want to have any soldiers with him, so he would make the others go off someplace further in the mines.

Coming up to an intersection, Nemisis ignited his sabers instantly as he spotted a group of selkath. He hacked them to pieces within the matter of seconds. Now his slaughter of the Selkath has begun.

Rhen Varr

The cold of the darkside.

It filled the underground passageway, without leaving a trace of detection on the surface. The darkside was strong, strong enough to preserve the sacred grounds after the surface was destroyed. A presence began to return to the cavern. Different from when it left, it had more substance this time. Lord Tyrannus had captured a physical form he could use. He opened his eyes to the icy walls, streching down into darkness. His new eyes were seeing the Passageway like never before.

Ah, home has never looked so good.

Tyrannus headed towards the end of the passageway, he could feel the darkside growing, from the spirits of the Sith Lords. He approached the archway, where he paused and looked at the image of the guardians, which were preserved in stone. He could see now why the early Sith trusted these force-users as the guardians of the Necropolis, they were formidable warriors. Even their statues demanded respect. He began to climb the stairs, then he sensed a very familiar presence.

"Your apprentice has alot of promise Vorlock."

Mist.

Ghostly white swirls, nigh translucent, hugged the ground. In the cold and the dark it stood out, white.
Up, up, up it spiraled, sounding an eerie breeze. Up, up, up went the mist, forming a shape.
The Spirit of the Sith Lord Darth Vorlock. Vorlock lowererd his hood, revealing his sickly face, the one he bore the day he died.

"It has been some time, Master Tyrannus. From your words, I believe it is safe to say that the Sith still thrive. Do they not?"

Tyrannus bowed his head slightly on viewing his apprentice's form.

"Kryad has done well in restoring the Sith. I will admit, I mis-judged your choice."

Tyrannus walked over to the centre of the Gateway. The Liivann statues were placed in the corners, watching every soul who dared to visit the Necropolis. Tyrannus sat down on one of the stones at the base of one of these figures. Despite being seated, Tyrannus still looked tall, being 6'8 at full height, it was no wonder that many Jedi had feared him.

"Did I ever explain about the significance of the Liivann guards here?"

Lord Vorlock's hideous apparition nodded.

"Indeed you did. Truly impressive warriors."

Tyrannus looked at his apprentice. Even in spirit, he was still the warrior he remembered.

"I regret the loss of their knowledge and location, but I will always respect them."

Tyrannus stood and began to walk towards the Alter. He stopped and turned towards his apprentice.

"Have any of The Dreaded Sith Lord's apparitions returned from the Dark Valley of the Force?"

Vorlock formed his brows into a V and grimaged, showing his yellow teeth.

"All of them."

"We must join them. The will of 'The Sith' must be obeyed."

Tyrannus and Vorlock moved towards the Alter, towards many spirits of Sith Lords long gone.

 

ic Gonni

Gonni was exuasted and unconcious.

Not many Jedi or Sith were able to do what he had just done, even those of great power. Even though his body lay still, dead like, on the cold cold surface of the planet, he was anything but in his dreams.
Gonni walked on a long stairway in his mind, for what seemed like hours, with zen-like calmness. He finally reached a field, a field of grass. In the middle of the field sat a rock. He climbed on the rock and had a look around, for any sign that he had made it through his journey's dangerous road of death and back. Any sign that he was now on the other side of the galaxy.

'I call upon the knowledge of Masters long gone, but still with us. I am in need of guidance.'

Heard Gonni. "But still with us" He thought to himself. He had made it. He turned around in his mental plane to see Skylynnus, standing silently, proud and fair.

"Hello Skylynnus, what is it that you come looking for."
