This is great as it is, not everyone will post, I often read stuff and not post a reply...... no offence to the great story's I have read just to lazy to reply.

 

Hmm, I guess that make chapters shorter would be a good idea, I mean, no offence to you but sometimes, like when I have 10 hours of school, my mind is sometimes so tired that it starts to speed up the writing in the end and well, I tend to miss a lot. But it?s your choice and when I does this, I sometimes goes back and read it again later, when I remember that is. But I do want you to keep writing this because it's an amazing story.

 

I will not change the length of the Dawn of a New Age Chapters but in the follow up piece the chapters are much shorter.

Hi there! I know it's been quite a while since I last replied to your last chapter but during the summer and since the start of this September I have been really busy, but I managed to read your last three chapters and I have to say you've certainly written a fantastic, if not nail bitingsituation between Darth Maul, the Dark Troopers and the Jedi.

Anyways, great posts, I hope to read what will happen next soon!

 

I have to admit I'm hooked. You set up quite the intriguing plot.

 

I figured that things would slow down a bit when summer was over and school resumed.

Absolutely fantastic battle scenes! My heart-rate seemed to increase with every blast and swish of a lightsaber blade.

But my favorite part was Yoda dispatchment of the dark troopers that surrounded him. What an image!

Once again, marvelous work, Miltech. Sorry about my absence from the boards, Although I've just finished working, I now have to get ready to back to campus next week...oh joy.

But I can assure you, once the back-to-school pandamonium dies down, things will get back to normal...or as normal as they can be considering.

WOW! What an amazing chapter!
The fight scenes were excellent,like something you see out of the SW movies,the Obi-wan and Darth Maul rematch was certainly cleverly made,

?Kenobi I have waited a long time for this!? He yelled at the Jedi Master as he ignited his double bladed saber and prepared himself to finally exact revenge on the Jedi whom he wished it upon the most.

Obi-Wan simply shook his head with dismay as he replied, ?There is no reason why you should have to be destroyed again. Shake loose your Master?s grip over you and release the hatred which has made you what you are.?

Hmmm...These are good lines I wonder if Maul should have taken Obi-wan's advice and then maybe Maul would have decided to turn against Palpatine, that would certainly help the Jedi in this
nail-biting situation.

Another great post, but what is happening to Anakin?!

The duel between Darth Maul and Obi-Wan is one of the main events in the story. Obi-Wan is a master now and much more experienced compared to when he was just a padawan fighting for his life.

I wanted to show that the dark side abilities such as force lightning is not particularly a dark art, what makes it dark is the manner in which it is used. Master Yoda and Mace Windu are two noted Jedi Masters who have meddled with dark side abilities to make themselves stronger. As the epic continues and also in the follow up to this story, Birth of an Empire, this theme is explored in much greater detail.
