Star Wars: Attack Squadrons beta

Anyone else playing? I'm running a tie fighter, it's super nimble. It's weird how you can have a team of rebel ships and tie fighters but it seems more of like a eff it all go shoot each other.

They pretty much give you a beta code for going to the site now. Also just added a new Death Star 2 map

I'm enjoying it so far, but it's really hard for me to get past seeing Imperial and Rebel ships on both teams. I know it should be minor, but the ship sounds are such an important part of the dogfights in the movies, that it's difficult to get immersed when my teammates scream by in TIE fighters...

 

I've seen gameplay of this.

No exaggeration to say that 2001's Rogue Leader looked, sounded, and played better.

It looks shockingly awful.

 

i tried it. very clunky. i'm very worried about not having an online hub like lucasarts to find game info.
that disney site is garbage. i don't care about disney stuff. i want star wars.
