Exactly. I keep seeing the idea that the DLC they're going to be rolling out is "free", well, no, it isn't. Somehow, somewhere, you pay for it - in this game it's with the loot box + microtransactions combo. Which leads to the Q: Is that too high a price 'free' DLC? For myself, I'd be inclined to say to say yes. Put out a load of DLC packs, set prices at the indiviudual and bundle level - that's then leaving choice up to the player. Deploying a dodgy pay-money-to-be-guaranteed-something really isn't, especially when it's made a core pillar, or even the core pillar of the game.
