We need the community to give EA ideas for monthly updates.

 

Unfortunately that’s exactly what’s been happening since before launch. Right now they have their hands tied because they want progression fixed. Next priority according to Dennis is probably season 2 which is the clone wars stuff.

It’s possible that has even been put on the back burner now as SOLO is coming up and they’ll want to capitalize on that. Unless they have the clone wars stuff locked in already I’m not sure timing would work. It all depends on when progression gets released.

If progression gets released end of March I think it would be another 4 weeks until we get The Clone Wars stuff. If the two come bundled together that would be fantastic but I don’t see it happening. Then it would be a month until their inevitable SOLO dlc. The issue with being so close together would mean that after SOLO it could be possibly months before we hear about further future content.

If I were to take a gamble I think our next content drop will be end of March with progression and possibly cosmetics. Dennis hinted that they’ve also been working on arcade content such as a conquest type mode as well as importing some old 2015 maps into the game. Those could come early to mid April. SOLO season in May. Clone Wars stuff a few months later.

Hope I’m wrong but DICE hasn’t been doing crash hot.

 

Clone wars is a must though I feel, due to the amount it brings to the table, Clone Battalions, Heros, Skins, Weapons, etc..
Should be Skins too for those Heros.. Like Anakin/Obi-Wan...

 

If Clone Wars content is coming in the next season, then I don't get why the EA Star Wars Instagram Story that first announced that a new season was coming soon, focused in on a picture of a Death Trooper. It could have just been to throw us off the scent but I don't know why they would do that.

It’s possible that it just may be a Rogue One season?

 

I wouldn't mind playing as Jyn again. I liked her in BF 2015.

 

Grievous is my #1 character want right now.
After that Anakin and Obi-wan are tied.

 

Rogue One before Clone Wars makes sense, simply because they already have all the assets from Rogue One that can be brought over. But I'd still want Clone Wars first.
Oh, and conquest in Arcade on the larger maps. The AI is fixed now, get some new modes in there.

 

Cargo is gone.

 

They should bring back the original cargo now.

Oh, I am slightly peeved. The latest timed challenge is to get five kills with the specialist's Infiltration. First map I get on is Crait on Galactic Assault storming along as the First Order. I manage the five - including wiping out two snipers in one of the last trenches [before the third noticed me] - and go back to my heavy regular for the remainer of the match and four others. Turns out the challege is only completable with the standard infiltration and not with any boost cards active. I've probably ran into the same thing before with other timed challenges, but WHY CAN'T IT BE THE SAME AS THE REGULAR MISSIONS.

 

Gimmie some DLC's xD Rebels/CloneWars mixup would be interesting and of course Rouge one.. I want Krennic again

 

Game will have constant change.. here we sit.... month later . Nothing new. Bull****..

 

I believe by this point in the life cycle of BF 2015 they had released 2 free Jakku maps, and the Outer Rim DLC. So another 4 maps, 2 new heroes, and a few new blasters and cards. Plus Hutt contracts were introduced.

Perhaps all the loot box hub bub, mixed with revamping progression, as well as multiple patches, has slowed down the release of actual content? I feel like even if they planned another season to be released by now, it will be delayed in favor of Solo content that may be released in conjunction with the film. This is purely opinion of course

 

Outer Rim didn’t come out until April 5. Your point still stands though that things do appear to be pushed back to revamp progression.

I’m hoping customization and more mods for base weapons also comes with the progression update. That’s make it worth the effort because otherwise I was fine with what we had.

My prediction is revamped progression end of March, conquest type mode in April, solo season may and then clone wars afterwards.

Alternatively they could release a clone wars season in April if it’s already finalized and the SOLO but it’d make more sense to space them out a bit more which is why I think Solo will come first.

 

Honestly, I couldn't care less at this point about the timing of the seasons, updates, dlc, whatever. It happens when it happens. If I actually enjoyed the game beyond the SW aspect I'd likely feel different. But I don't.

 

Be surprised if we get another season..

 

We'll get more seasons I just think they will be slower than people were hoping. I'd place money on getting at least a Clone Wars season given Dennis' earlier teases and a SOLO tie in season. Beyond that I am not sure.

Im in no rush though personally. Every charge, patch, fix, etc. they implement just brings more problems. DICE's philosophy is seemingly fix 1 thing, break 2 things.

 

Yes at this stage I’d be more inclined for them to fix the game they have.
