Star Wars: Battlefront II General Discussion

I believe it will happen.

I personally was very happy to have the game, but dissapointed that they released it so early.

They should have waited until after ep. 3.

But, they didn't.

Will the make a new on after ROTS?

There are somewhere around ten battles that will take place in ROTS, after all.

 

I think it likely they'll make an expansion of some kind...

 

There are a few Rots maps...

 

I would really like to see Mygeeto, Saleucami, Utapau, and Coruscant maps.

 

I hope so. I really like Battlefront. More maps on some of the planets and more planets to chose from would be cool. So would an all-space battle.

 

A Jedi temple map wouldn't be too shabby either. I can just imagine the voice of your adivisor. "Hold the Archives! Hold the Council Chamber! Hold the Garden!" It would be better if there was playable Jedi role.

 

Jedi Archives would be great.

I would also like a Star Destroyer or Death Star map.

 

What about a Mustafar map? That would be cool!

 

Or a droid factory that would be sweet.

 

How about a Tantive IV map? Or even the Millennium Falcon?

 

Battlefront was arguably the worst Star Wars game to date. Only a few short months after its release, hardly anybody was playing it anymore. A sequel would only drive it further into the ground.

 

It would be cool, but I wouldn't get your hopes up

 

just replayed this game, now a halo2 vet. i have to say, it's not very fun. i like playing on my favorite planets, but honestly- the gameplay is not nearly as fun or easy as halo

 

Really? I thought Battlefront was very easy. That was probably the fastes videogame I've beat.

 

You actually played single player?

 

I don't think Battlefront was that bad, it just needed more features so that the replay value would be better. It was just too easy, but fun nonetheless.

 

Basically, the idea was great, the level design was interesting, and the "command post" concept was nice, but the gameplay and controls were HORRID.

Completely un-fun to play.

 

another battlefront game would be nice, except that they need a new concept they need to make the next one more structured and t make space battles a part of it, most battles in star wars are in space they also neede to make different factions to fight against, say the yuuzhan Vong perhaps....

Battlefront 2's comin out this fall sometime (Yes everyones probably thinking what I'm thinking, holy crap thats 1 year between sequels, just make an expansion and save us some money)

I thought the first one was fun, i stil play it w/ my brother sometimes on PCs. Its just old-school fast intense battles and explosions. But I say, just make Battlefront 2 an expansion, no reaosn to go ahead and make a sequel 1 year after the first, it won't be worth it.

 

The only thing that got me into battlefront was the mulitplayer.

 

Console owners have no use for an expansion pack. At least PS2 owners don't. That's probably the reason why it's a sequel and not an expansion.

Is it for sure that a Battlefront II is coming out in the fall? Does anyone know how different it'll be?
