This is the Saga Edition rules right?

Is this before, during of after the events of KOTOR? If after has the Jedi purge taken place? I need this for background info for my character.

 

It's kind of during the events of KOTOR, so no the Jedi purge has not happened yet. Malak is Dark Lord and as far as everyone knows, Revan is dead. War is going on between the Republic and the Sith. And obveously, no one knows anything about the Star Forge.

 

Is this a point buy in? If so how many or simply rolling the dice?
Are we using Destiny Points? How many to start off with?

 

He had me roll 4d6 taking the highest 3 numbers and rerolling any 1's. And he has told me that he would like for us to come up with our own destinies. So we should start out with 7 destiny points, one per level.

 

Correct. 7 destiny points, and rolling of the dice 4d6, take the highest 3 and re-roll all ones.
